If your school didnt score ONE DAMN POINT, sign here--->

Since JSU played PQ this weekend and didnt score over 60, GR will be the first to sign. Not only did we not score a point, we only scored 44. that means that JSU has a -16 points so far.

How about the rest of you?
How did your team do this weekend offensively?

So everybody scored a buuunch of points this weekend huh? JSU is the only school that didnt score ONE DAMN POINT huh?

We scored the 1 point we needed to win. So does that count???????????

Somebody around here had to put the MEAC in there place.

that can't be possible, because the -16 wouldn't even take into account the 20 that big ole Paul Quinn scored.

How mad were you when you left?
not mad enough to start boycotting.

none

When did you find out the score to the JSU game?
Sunday on tspn, because ESPN doesnt put up NAIA scores.

Didn't you have to claw your way back to beat .... one-dimensional Tennessee State?

C'mon man, so y'all can run. We can pass. Somebody is still gonna get their azzes kicked Oct. 7th and it's our turn to ruin homecoming for you.

The ASU offense was almost completely inept against the Trojans.

The Hornets managed just 134 total yards and only eight first downs. They ran just 24 plays and never crossed midfield in the first half when Woods was leading the offense. He finished the game 7 of 14 for 41 yards.
This is sad............

This is even sadder.

"This was fun to watch," Troy head coach Larry Blakeney said. "I was pleased to see what I did. I didn't know what to expect out of this bunch. Offensively, we played well. I was kind of surprised the defense did as well as it did against ASU."

The Hornets, led by first-year, redshirt freshman quarterback T'Chelpio Woods, who spent the night trying to avoid constant pressure from Trojan pass rushers, struggled. The ASU offense ended the game with only 134 total yards and crossed midfield just twice -- both in the fourth quarter.

"You never like to lose," ASU head coach Charlie Coe said. "But I'm guessing 38 points was a lot better than many of the soothsayers out there predicted for us. There were some problems, but I told our guys that a whole lot of good will come out of this game for us. When we watch that tape, we'll see that we're not far off.

"This was a good experience for us."

And it just got worse for ASU.

As the half went on, the worse the Hornets looked offensively. With Troy up by 14 and four minutes left in the half, ASU answered with a three-and-out that netted minus-two yards.

ASU, while better offensively in the second half after backup QB Alex Engram replaced Woods, never threatened to score. The Hornets deepest penetration of the game was the Troy 38-yard line.

You won by ONE point.
You gained ONE yard.

:shh:

We do it all baby. All you gotta do is just pick your poison.

Key word(s) You WON...

It matters not by how many...but when the clock reads 00:00 at the end of the 4th qtr.

this is a lot of smack for a shutout loss to a IA team. heaven forbid you get beat 21-0 by someone in the swac. you'll need to go back to DII right. well, I guess not. that happened a few times in recent history and, ahem, no one turned in their IAA card huh.

I mean Alcorn scored but I kow not everyone can dominate a NAIA team or has fine coaching like we do in Dr. Johnny Thomas.

But don't feel bad, starting qb's that have never played in a game at a 4 year school (regardless of creditials) will help u go scoreless. so be u swac newcomer of the year, or juco all american growing pains are to be expected. unfortunately for the hornets this is just the beginning of a rebuilding cycle. sanctions are coming to an end and getting those extra 30 scholarship players over the next few years and building some depth doesn't happen overnight. and one can't help but wonder will coe stick around to see the project completed and will alumni even want him to. ben harris is still out there.

First of all we play Stillman for homecoming... second if you return any of those offensive lineman from last year this game wont be close.

You're right about one thing. The game won't be close because AAMU don't have a defense anymore. We will have the game put away by halftime.
