The way yall been playing lately, you better hope YALL make it to the second round. I remember you snickering when you thought your last two games against Alcorn and SU was gonna be a cakewalk. After losing to two teams that you should have beaten, it's not so funny anymore huh? ;)

I know yall like to think that basketball season belongs to yall, but the truth is yall suck. The teams yall have had the last couple/few years wouldn't come close to beating Morelands's team. Face it, yall Phugged Up when yall forced him out. He still smiles after every loss.:lol:

When was the last time Southern won anything in basketball worth talking about? TSU dropped their last two games of the season and Southern won their last two games of the season and we (TSU) still finished higher than SU. By the way SU's basketball program is going, y'all need a high school coach too. Take your 7th place finish and be happy.

Now, I know the SWAC is supposed to be unified in education, but I gotta jump out from under my SWAC shirt and say " This has to be one of the dumbest statements I have ever seen on the SWACPage in my four plus years here."

SU goes from NOT being in the tourney to securing the seven seed and we need to step down with a HS coach? You go from a SWAC Championship and I believe a second seed to holding on for a third this year after losing to the 7th and 8th seed? What make you think I'm happy about losing to a basketball program as bad as Southern's? My point was SU fans have no room to talk about anyone?s basketball team as bad as Southern basketball program is right now. When was last time Southern won a championship in basketball or finished above forth place?

TSU won the SWAC Tournament LAST year. Hello, this is 2004. I'm sure SU would trade their coach and that seventh place finish for our third place finish and our high school coach any day. If our coach is so bad, why did SU finish so far below TSU?
 
why are you even arguing with them? They have nothing to brag on in hoops but if 7th place is fine...so be it...

hell, we did not make it but considering we were champs last year, a 7th place finish is below expectations.
