Why would yall hire someone like that C.C.?

I mean, have yall no morals! :smh:
speaking of "no morals"
After hiring Tuskeegee University football coach Rick Comegy to jump start an ailing program,
Norfolk State was shocked when Comegy, after signing an agreement with the Virginia school, failed to show up for work last Monday, leaving an entire athletic department and his newly hired assistant coaches confused. One assistant had even driven his family up from Florida for the job, only to be left unemployed when Comegy announced he would remain at Tuskeegee.
Those who know Comegy's track record shouldn't be surprised by the coach's utter disrespect and inconsideration. Last year, he used a coaching offer from Baltimore's Morgan State University to squeeze more money out of Tuskeegee's athletic department.
Comegy's actions have led Norfolk State school officials to discuss possible legal action against the coach and Tuskeegee. But his actions affect far more than just himself and the two schools caught up in his game.
Assistant coaches who may have planned to relocate their families for the job at NSU, now are left wondering where to turn. Players who were given a sense of security and hope that comes along with hiring a new coach were fooled. With just over three weeks remaining in the recruitment period, a team's entire program hangs in the balance as the administration scrambles to find a replacement in time to bring in any sort of talent to a 5-6 team without most of its defensive starters.
But think even to the message that Comegy has sent. Your feelings are unimportant. It's all about the Benjamins.
In an era where the bling-bling mentality has eroded pure athletic competition to a shell of its former self, replaced with trash talking, underachieving, over-inflated egos on adolescents barely old enough to vote, let alone buy alcohol, Comegy has joined the ranks. Comegy, like his athletic counterparts, is exceptional at his trade. Consequently, he is equally greedy as well.
While he credits his decision to his desire to keep his son in Alabama, Comegy's failure to notify Norfolk State, then taking a nonchalant "they'll get over it" attitude outweighs any good intentions.
Charles Barkley once said athletes are not role models, and that parents should be the real role models. When even our coaches turn away from the ideals of true competitive sport, it's almost as though parents have no other choice.
