IF YOU LOST YOUR HOMECOMING.......PLEASE POST HERE!!!!

:lmao:

*signs in... walks away cussing*

I tried to told them, APB will lay down all season and come to Houston with an attitude. Look back at my posts this was a game I said I was very concerned about.

Anyway:

Our team is young and got caught up in HC.
We don't have the athletes to be competative because of the reductions in scholarships.
We have a lot of injuries
Oh and THE JSU ALUM AINT SHAT! When we didn't get the first guy we wanted we should have started the search over. IMHO! Was praying the jsu alum would have beat the shat out of Alcorn and been hired away by his alma.

Just canceled my flight to MSY for su game. My in-laws are pissed they were expecting to see the kids that weekend.

It is part of the game, we have 11 starters out due to injury, you still have to line up and play, at the end of the day this is the SWAC

No, you didn't post that you were worried about this game. As a matter of fact this is what you posted:

Yep I believe it just as much as you believe what you said. I believe TSU will in BR.
Also, Gram is due a let down. Look at Bama St. and Alcorn early they looked dominant. But they had their SWAC card pulled. Pine Bluff always comes at TSU hard. That game usually has a couple of brawls break out. Our team has a good number of young players I don't know if they are ready for that type of game. That is what valley brought to town and it had TSU a little out of their comfort zone.

........because JR told posted this:

You really believe that. LOL. You do realize after we play JSU. SU does not leave the city of Baton Rouge again until Bayou Classic. You realize that right? The game I was most worried about was Alabama A&M on the road since they came before the JSU game. We will always get up for the JSU game in Jackson. But on the road to Bama has always been something I worry about. Now that we got that one out of the way. We get this off week before JSU and then it's home cooking all the way to the BC. Hell even the BC is a home game for Southern.

Yall ain't getting out of Lorman with a win. I don't care what Alcorn has to do. They are going to win their homecoming.

Gram may not lose again until they see SU in the BC. I think they can start to taste it. You better watch out for PB. They are going to get somebody.

...............only in response to this:

TSU will win 3 or 4 of these 5 games. I don't see no real heat here. Alcorn and SU are the two that concern me most. Like Bama St. & Alcorn, Gram just will not get through SWAC play unscathed. They going to get touched by someone and I think it will be TSU.
Alcorn concerns me but I still think TSU will pull it out in a close one TSU +4
Pine Bluff always plays TSU very hard but the don't have the athletes this year TSU +2
Grambling will loose in Houston TSU +7
SU will lose two of their next 3
Jsu will have packed it in by the time they come to Houston.

You said my boys don't have the athletes.........now you turn around & you post this:

Like I told Founder, when it comes to UAPB, always be careful and choose your words carefully...........and don't flatter yourself in thinking that my folks laid down all season and came to Houston with an attitude because it was TXSU they played. Since you like to say "go back and read my posts", go back and look at our conference scores.....with exception of Alabama State, we've put up at least 30+ points. Didn't win the games, but we definitely didn't "lay down" either.

See this is why females need to stay in the kitchen barefooted, with plats in they head.

See you don't come around these parts much but some of what I posted (the excuses I listed) was comments intended for particular people, kind of like and inside joke. Now notice I said

Hmmmm...in the kings English what does it mean if I say I don't know if they are ready for this type of game? Also, my prediction was tsu +2, sans the last second blocked FG tsu would have won by exactly 2 points. Our FG kicker is one of the best thing about our team so that block was a shock to me. Any way if you go back and read again without being in and induced state of euphoria from winning a game you will see everything I said was pretty much spot on. Also, please note the one way penalties in this game that took points off the board for TSU. Your team was allowed to get away with a lot of thing that TSU was not. I don't know what the deal is but TSU has a lot of issues getting any breaks from the zebras.

Congrats on the win...I'm sad to see my Tigers loose HC each win and loss is a double edged sword for me.

:)

No love; I've been here, right here, taking all the smack. It's you who's the "Johnny-come-lately". You were the one like Terri McMillan, doing disappearing acts after 2010, because you were no where to be found in 2011, 2012, or 2013. Only when it was announced earlier this year that TXSU had come out of their APR fiascos and scored 930+ (congratulations again, by the way) that you resurfaced. It was when TXSU got off to a winning start this year that you started back frequenting the Boards on a more regular basis. I wouldn't know this if "I didn't come around these parts much." I may not post a lot on the Boards, but I do read them.

As for me being in "an" (not and) induced state of euphoria because my team won...hardly. I did read what you posted, and no, you weren't "pretty much spot on". You first said my team didn't have the athletes, but then posted afterwards that TXSU didn't have the athletes. But again, yeah, I did go back and read what you posted......actually I went way back:

2.
Valley going to tap that arse, their defense is nasty, and they use a lot of the same ole dirty tricks jsu used in the past to break a players focus.

3.
The officiating of this game was horrible. The refs lost control of the game in the 3rd qtr and acted as if they didn't know what to do. If this is a officiating crew that always works together, it needs to be disbanded immediately. This game film needs to be, nevermind.....

4.
I don't know what the problem is with TSU and the refs, but we never get the close calls or the favorable spots. Those ref calls always seem to go against TSU.

5.
Refs gave valley a 1st down with a super generous spot they didn't earn.

I wonder if someone is going to ask the jsu alum about the refs again on the coaches conference call Monday? The refs did all they could to help valley.

See? I read what you posted. Your own posts and your own words proved the point I was trying to make about yesterday's game......
