This is to all people who doubted and questioned Kobe's ability to LEAD a team. No names are needed to be called, we remember when Kobe was down and you kicked him. Now that he is leading his team to victories nobody wants to talk about that lol.

By whose standards does it not count? That's like asking someone can Shaq win a championship without Wade? It doesn't matter. He still has four, whether he wins another one or not.
Besides, Shaq had Wade as a starting point guard, while Kobe had Smush Parker.

Boy, folks can come up with all kinds of new illogical rules to discredit the best player in the NBA. So sad, so sad, so sad.:smh:

Just let me know officially and publicly that you want to honor the bet by saying YEA or NAY.

The Lakers are looking pretty good this season so far. With all the trades that are going on in the west, it'll be interesting to see how this all turns out in the playoffs. But still in all, Kobe has yet to prove that he can get past the 2nd round of the playoffs without his Shaq daddy.

Oh, now it's the SECOND round?? Keep raising the bar. You may as well have said Western conference championship series, cause that's where they'll end up IF they all remain healthy.

I haven't seen this much hate since Michael Jordan.:smh::smh:

IF...the playoffs started today...LA would hold the 2 seed and would have to face Houston so they just might get past the first round...IF....the playoffs started today!

Don't sleep on Houston though. They on a 10 game win streak too so it'd be an interesting match up.

....and you failed to mention that EACH and everyone of those players had far more talent than Kobe had to work with. That ain't too hard to grasp is it or is your dislike of Kobe and the Lakers blinding you too much for you to see that simple fact.?

Okay, I'll take it that you will take the bait.....urrruuhhh BET, but to be SURE, please plainly say YEA, the bet is on or NAY, I decline or just say yes or no. We don't want no confusion or excuses once the Lakers make it on to the second round.:swink:
 
Jax and topdog if you would look past your dislike of the guy and just look at the makeup of the team and what Kobe is doing with a busted hand you would not be so bias.

How have all the analyst and sports writers been enamored with Kobe and this team and you guys keep going back to the last three years.

Kobe did not have the team ShaQ had. As that team got old,traded away and D wade got hurt Shaq showed he can't carry a team.

Now Kobe has a real team aroud him and your not giving him a fair chance.The Lakers could not afford a player after the shaq trade but in three years we are 13 players deep with no real weakness. The PG is three deep with fisher ,farmer and Voliachic. Kobe has treveor Arreza and radmonovick,The we have Lamar,Bynum,Gasol and Torioff. And the passing High IQ guy in Walton. No one matches up with the Lakers in the West and the east will beat themselves up by the time the finals roll around.

I'm being real not a fan here.

Shaw...don't get me wrong...he's a helluva ball player. I have to give it to Phil and the front office...the Gasol trade was a good move....but they still one of the dumbest sports franchises in history to let Shaq go...but that's another story.

Yeah...last year he had to carry his team in a pretty much balanced Western Conference, but now...the tables have turned. Shaq is in the desert with Shaggy and Amare ,J Kidd is back with his first team(Mavs), AI and Melo doin pretty good in the Mile High City and H Town is on a 10 game winning streak.
...and you still have San Antonio to deal with.

Come playoff time, we'll see how far LA goes.

Typo. I mean "into" the 2nd round, not "past" the 2nd round. Today is my last day at this job, so I'm doing a million things at once trying to wrap things up, LOL!! :lmao:

Did you even read my post? My first sentence was "The Lakers are looking pretty good this season so far." Can you name on thing in my post that's not true?
