If We Think this makes the SWAC look good, We Are Just Fooling Ourselves...Again.





We go to Kentucky by choice.... The problem is these money games are too lucrative and basketball gate receipts are low so we put ourselves in the situation

That's what I've been saying on some of these sites.. no one feel any pity for us when a lot of us were playing zero home games in November and December getting blasted...


And no one has a problem with it in football either when it's us getting paid to go to Ohio State or Auburn to get throttled...

Exactly....we (GSU) gets spanked on weekly basis during basketball season....hell even alumni are like..well it's time for basketball:lol:

You know folks from a certain school(that shall remain nameless) live and thrive in the field/area of double standards.
 
One neat thing that local and national media are learning about Southern via this game... the official Southern web site has not added a new basketball story in over a month. Come on guys!
 



Not saying I would've said the same thing, nor do I buy it when coach Banks said he didn't realize what the score was, but where is the outcry when an HBCU is on the losing end of these beatdowns?

Plenty of outcry during football season. But, I think it was SU winning by 104 that caused this stir.
 
So.... yall are trying to compare playing this team to two NCAA teams playing, no matter how good one may be. This isn't even a damn NCAA school lol, and they have a grand total of 250 students including the athletes. The President is the basketball coach. There's no way to justify that, that's just sad. And if you put them on your schedule you're sad too.

Exactly, there is no comparison between playing Kentucky and playing a school that train preachers. Was it last year, maybe two years ago, forgot the two teams, but a majority of you was laughing at a team from the MEAC or SWAC for playing a similar size school / program from Virginia. So go you dogged the MEAC team for playing a program with less than 2000 students.

No you are saying, this is ok. And the coach said something like this "Its hard to schedule the upper to mid-level NCAA programs" what a lie. The fact is Southern, scheduled the Baptist College, just as Kentucky or Duke schedules HBCU's or a lesser opponent, the only difference is the amount of money paid out..

S U Coach just lied. If he want to schedule programs such as Kentucky, Michigan, Duke, Florida and other programs - why not call the AD I am sure they will be more than happy to place SU on the schedule.
