for one year would help the economy and lower the jobless rate buy 4 % would you do it?

Yes or No and if No why not?

Yes I would. I only buy American anyway if i can help it. I use to work in plants going to college, so I understand the importance of keeping folks employed.

Yes I would and do the few time this can be done.

I don't pay much attention to "made in ______" tags because 99.9% of products sold are not 100% American made. I don't have time to waste driving all over the planet looking for products tyhat are 100% made in America. That "made in America" era died a long time ago with the PUBLICS blessing back in the day.

Yes. And any politician that talks about saving the American economy and who does not bring up tariffs is full of shit. You cant have a middle class without a manufacturing sector.

If you mean buying a honda, toyota,or nissan made in ohio, tennessee,or kentucky, yes I would.

Yes I would, but so much of what we as consumers buy is not totally made in one place. Many items are "assembled" in Mexico or China. The items being assembled are produced all over the world. Automobiles, clothes, electronics, etc.

It is dang near impossible in a globalized world.

Yup....certain stores we would have to stop shopping at completely. Folks would have to leave Wal-Mart ALONE which is the hardest thing to do. Then examine the large items like vehicles. I have a GMC Denali...American made...Texas truck. Yet, materials for your home. Like I'm in the process of remolding the hall bathroom. After this thread I went and researched the materials. Hell my toilet was made in Mexico.....the faucet was made in Ireland???? Just cray....

I am willing to bet the engine for your GMC is not made in America.

explain please

Almost Any major government procurement requires U. S. based companies that are required to mostly use parts made in the USA. Presidential vehicles, military equipment, many times even down to bolts and nuts are scrutinized. Depending on the use.

"US based" companies, what a joke
one little building or website "based" in the US but most of the workers/jobs in other countries
you think those nuts and bolts are made in the US?
