Ok now that I have your attention.

Fella's: If your girlfriend, sex partner told you that. What would you do? What if it was a one-night stand?

Ladies: What would you do if you pregnant, by the person you are currently sleeping with?

disclaimer: I am not pregnant

GIRL!!! Don't DO THAT!!!

You know you is crazy! Since my procreative abilities have been "nipped in the bud" ... I'd chalk it up to a miracle and have a baby if it were medically possible ...

Well it depends where you stand in life with how you respond to that statement. When I was 19 and in college, those were some dreaded words.:bawling: But, after I got married and heard those same words, I was excited.

Now when I'm in my late 30's, if I hear those same words, I'll feel like I was at 19. :bawling:

Hmmm, hard to get pregnant while abstaining...

...but speaking hypothetically...I would just be pregnant. I made my bed...therefore I must lie in it.

If I was to end up pregnant by the person I am currently sleeping with, we'd simply have a new edition to the Evans household! :D

:lmao:

Girl you gave me a early pregnancy days flashback.
I wouldn't wish morning sickness on an enemy.
I chalk that up to the most dismal experience
of my young life.

CONGRAD'S!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think at this point... if I was to get pregnant I would cry for about 2weeks then... Suck it up and get to business of having the lil rugrat.

My reaction would have to be appropriate for the situation. If it was a 1 night stand, I would have to get 100% proof that the child is mine or like they always say 99.9888%. From there the situation would have to be handled reasonably. If it is a love interest, we would have to look at the status of our relationship and our situations. I would only be shocked if the appropriate amount of protection was used and it failed, other than that, I knew what I was getting into...errr I would know what I am getting into.
How many months you say you are?

At age 45, I would stick my chest out and strut around the house for ten minutes. Then I would look at the 23, 22, and 20 year old still living at home and cry my azz off for being soooooo stupid as to get another sorry azz lazy nucka to feed.

Nah, seriously...the kids are home from college for Christmas. I pray that this is the last Christmas that they will be home from college. One way or another, next Christmas they will be on vacation from their jobs or homeless shelter.

Being a parent is a wonderful thing. I recall when my wife (who wasn't my wife at the time) told me she was pregnant. Sked the isht out of me, cuz I was in my senior year at GSU. Looking back, it was the best thing that ever happened to me. Got my azz out of them streets and away from that "cough-cough" stuff!

I'm 21 and still in school......and i've heard these words from the mouth of a chickenhead before. I was -------->:bawling: until I found out it wasn't mines......then I was ----->:kaioken: that she tried to pin it on me cuz she knew the daddy wouldn't take care of it. But in the end, I was :swink: cuz I got out of it.

Well, from the standpoint of someone who's been there/done that........

I started "spoonin' around my 10th grade year of H.S......when I graduated it was still at 1........going to college and all that increased those numbers drastically. ;) (It was during the time when I didn't know how to say no.......)

Anyway, I said that when I hit the 50+ mark I'd give it a rest. Well on my way, it seemed like I was about to attain my goal when I heard those dreadful words.........

I'm pregant. :bawling:

Mind you I've been through what Unknown1 has been on (and worse)....but this ladies and gentleman was the real deal.

6lbs and 3 oz. turned out to be the thing that I love the most in life. Every day when I walk in the house my "Jaylen" runs up to me screaming daddy. (he turned 1 in Septemeber) It's the greatest thing in the world when you have someone that loves you unconditionally.

Now when it happened again........ ;)
My son's mother came and told she was pregnant.........again.
I was like......... :kaioken:
Because at the time we had went our seperate ways.....so I was on the "get my son every other day system". We go to the doctor.....come to find out she's 7 months!!!
She's all like......... :bawling: I didn't tell you because I thought you'd say I couldn't keep it. So I prayed about it.............had a couple of drinks..........and prayed some more.

Soooo........

12/24/01----->>> Last Wednsday at approx. 6:31 a.m. I was blessed with another son.........

Avery D'Naul Payne. :D

Having 2 sons has changed my life drastically........it keeps me more focused, and it's helped me keep my mind on my goals. Alot of the bull-ish I used to be on gone bye-bye. My priorities have changed, because now I'm not just living for me......I'm living for my legacy.
Plus it's pretty kool 2 have 2 little "Supakats" running around.......they're my best friends and I wouldn't trade neitheir of them for the world. :)

Now ya'll excuse me while I go get myself "snipped"...... ;) lol

Well, like Blublood said? it?s extremely hard to get pregnant when you are abstaining, but I will share my opinion anyway.

Here is where I stand on pregnancy in this day and age. Mind you, this is JUST MY OPINION and if you don?t agree, just remember it?s MINE.

OK?

I think the majority of the folks that post in here are post-graduates, so we are mostly above the age of 23. We all survived the ?safe sex/teen pregnancy? crap they stuffed down our throats in high school. We are all educated. We all have common since. We all know how NOT to get pregnant. There is NO EXCUSE in this day and age to get pregnant on ?accident?. There are too many options out there. I won?t list them because you all know them. But if you are over the age of 23, are out of college and the college mindset, professional and independent? you only get pregnant because YOU WANT TO!!!! It may be a conscious decision or a subconscious one? but you want to.

Guys? a bit of advice that you can take or leave?

Stop having RAW SEX with these women that CLAIM to be on the pill. Unless you physically watch her swallow that pill EVERYDAY, don?t be a victim!!!!! That mess has happened to not one, not two, but three of my males friends. IF SHE IS NOT YOUR WIFE, DON?T TRUST HER WITH YOUR BODY!!!!!!!

OK? I am finished now. ;)

I concur with blaquebuterfly! :D

On the other hand, I know on several occassions where desperate men AND women have sabotaged condoms.

That is why I feel you must communicate with your partner. It may be hard when you're just "cutty buddies" to have the "What if we get pregnant?" conversation, but if you're mature enough to lay down with that person, you SHOULD be mature enough to discuss those issues.

My mommy always told me that every man you lay down with could be the potential father of your children.

Those words are SERIOUS!

Why I'm I pondering this question?

At almost 43, single parenting a 6 year old, and managing 3 careers simultaneously, I would figure it was some kind of pentinence and cruel joke. When I was married and was an infertility patient I prayed every day to be able to say those words. BUT NOT NOW! BEEN THERE DONE THAT! THANK GOD FOR THIS ONE I GOT!

Unless the fetus had a note from Jesus himself, I could not bit mo' take care of another baby. And with the snip-snip, burn-burn job it would be medically impossible to almost a 99% degree. With that 1% out there, I would say I'm pregnant and it's time to build an altar in his name!

My Past Dilema...

Im 33, no kids (several close calls), engaged twice but never been married.....Naw I aint scaired of commitment but my woman anyday now could give me an Ultimatum...

An ex-girlfriend of mine told me she was pregnant....I was like OMG and scaired as any unmarried man should be....
She then asked me what we were gonna do about it...I was like, we are gonna have it...she was like I aint ready to be a mom...I was like I aint ready to be a dad (but when is anybody ready) but we are grown and we are gonna have to deal with it.
Normally in these situations it's the guy wanting to exercise the abortion option...but, I aint having dat....
She was animate about it and I thought It was a lost cause....

To make a long story short, her story was false and she was playing some kind of dememted mind games with me. But, she realized I was far more dememted than she could ever be...

Man, I think I only put up with her ISHT because she was an
F-Cup.....Man when she would lay on the bed it looked like she had two bald headed Midgets sittin on her chest.....Uhh, back to reality....

The bottom line is don't bed down with nobody you would be ashamed to say......That's the Father/Mother of my child.
That alone would eliminate a lot of problems.
:D :D :D
