Again have you asked yet. You keep saying go. Boy yall TELL alot but don't ask nothing.

Oh I'll ask, define a "sound" church?

I believe she is referring to a church that teaches 'sound doctrine'. One that does not deviate from the scriptures.

AND MY HOUSE SHALL BE A HOUSE OF PRAYER

Not A place for you an your wife to have sex!!

Prayer does not= sex!!

I'm about to turn you over to that reprobate mind

Tony, again, what if you are praying for the most healthiest child during procreation and you want the full blessing. Do you not go where you think your procreating will be done best with the most praise?

You can do what you like because you are not God.

Mark,

Are you saying this is not an answer?

I siad no speculative scriptures. I am searching for answers but each time that I respond with a wait that does not sound right, people get irritated. If you can't answer the question give up.

Again I am seeking a Christian POSITIVE answer.

I stated earlier whether or not you were looking for a scripture that states verbatim or in so many words exactly what you are asking. Is this what you want to know?

I don't have to ask. I have no interest in that.
It's YOU who wants to know. YOU ASK.

A sound church is a place where they are teaching a doctrine that you believe that teaches truth.

Yes I want verbatim or where previous scriptures relate to marriage and procreation. This has not been supplied. The scripture Tony utilzed was concerning Christ running those out of his church who were selling and early on in that scipture it was concerning an individual who was taxing and wanted to supply the return of more what he took from the poor to Christ.

If you are going to chastise me or criticize me then you need to check yourself because I am seeking. This is not directed at you SLT but in general.

I do recall reading that post earlier SLT. I don't think you want the answer DSN, I think you want everyone to say you are right and they are wrong. That's not going to happen. Why? Because just as they can't provide you with a definitive scripture to say it's wrong, you can't provide one that definitely says it's RIGHT. I think that's where discernment comes in. If you feel that its ok to have sex with your future wife in church, if that's what the Lord puts on your heart, then what does it matter what we can or cannot prove in the Bible? You don't have to answer to us anyway right?

That is one of the reasons why I speak with my pastor directly once a week for an hour when it is just he and I, no one else. I think I have said that before. The reason is I have shared a lot with my pastor and the support I have recieved from him, the deacons, and the prayer support infrastructure in place has been helpful.

I stick to my 8:00 p.m. appointment on Tuesdays for an hour not to chime in on others time who are like me, in other parts of the country that feel comfortable with my pastor as I do.

My problem is I do not like nor do I entertain round about stuff. God has not supplied me with round about stuff, I made it round about myself. So again answer or not. Find it or not. I am in the middle, I have given why I think it is right but that is not fact because I have not found where it is right, but I definitely have not found where it is wrong.

I don't know if you're going to get a scripture about having sex at church even if you are married and whether or not it is sinful. What you are gonna get is why churches exist.

:)

I know I have Hemophilia, so if I go to a church with my wife who is a believer in Christ as I am, and ask if we may procreate in church in private because we feel this is best to recieve his blessings.

Would that be wrong?

If God put that on you...then it can't be wrong.
If the Pastor see that you and your wife are sincere when it is asked, then nobody else can say anything.
I mean...would it matter if they did?

Couldn't you recieve the same blessings at home? If you had fervent prayer in the home would you have the same results as far as blessings are concerned? Do you have to perform the act at church, or could you just ask for the blessing there? Is a marriage any less blessed if the ceremony was performed in a house instead of a church? Just seeking enlightenment as well.

that was an example...but it's still sex in the church...but you are right it would not matter.

Those speculative questions that will the speculative answer of maybe. Yet, if a couple wants to be sure shouldn't they have that option?

I'm not sure what you mean about couple wanting to be sure? Please explain.

For instance the extremist...who want to be sure their children have the FULL BLESSINGS...Branch Dividiens(sp) come to mind.

Jesus don't wear glasses!

Sorry..back to your question....
That's goes back to Crit's response about sound doctrine.

If you can?t discern from all you know.
Or all you?ve heard.
Or all you?ve read that you shouldn?t have sex at church,
Then God Bless your Soul.

How do you know God exist?

Did this happen?

True, and that's why I love my Pastor as a man of God. He knows all of his sheep. Many times when we talk he goes over to my mother's home in case there is something that she may want to add. It's a family thing. Bringing God home.

Just curious... have you asked him this question? If you have, what was his response?
