I realize it doesn't "mean anything"

Let's Go Lions, GO!
But does Chicago just HAVE to be getting their azzes kicked like this? It makes for very unentertaining football ...

I stopped watching it V...:smh:

After the first 2 interceptions and turnover.....I turned the station.

Just saw a sign that said, "Division Champs don't need this win" or some shat ... y'all mofos don't need such a dayumed skull dragging going into the playoffs, either.

Geez! :xeye:

I don't think you can limp into the playoffs at 13-3. They just did not look ready to play tonight. You could see it on the offense, defensive and special teams. There was no life in the stadium. It was like they were just trying to get this last game over and move on to the playoffs. I know people will bash Rex Grossman and Brian Greise, but a lot of other teams have question marks going into the playoffs as well. The Bears, like every other team, will need to step it up in the postseason.

P.S. Brett Favre was a great player. Even though I don't like the Packers, he gets much respect from me, and I enjoyed watching him play. Except against the Bears.

The goal for this game was to avoid key injuries and get prepared for the playoff run. Nobody will remember this game if the Bears are superbowl champs. The game strategy reminded me of the PV vs Bama A&M game prior to the SCG.

EXACTLY

That is a common practice among the NFL teams that are in the playoffs. They'll rest the starters the final game so they can be healthy going into the playoffs. The Eagles started out with their starters playing but once they found out they won their divison due to Dallas getting destroyed by Detroit *snicker*, they pulled their starters.
I think the only team that didn't do that this week might have been the San Diego Chargers.

I know it is common practice, but I would have rather seen the Bears' starters players in the first half than see Grossman and the rest of the team play like that. I not going to jump off the Sears Tower because the Bears lost last night, I was just expecting the starters to play better than they did. Like the previous poster said, if the Bears win in the playoffs and the Super Bowl, in Miami, then one one will remember this game.

That's true, but it has to be a little alarming that while the Bears starters were in the game they were getting their azz handed to them.
