The lie led to over 100K Iraqi civilians losing their lives. I have tried for years to figure out why we would invade a country which was not a threat to us. The only thing I can come up with was it was a political decision. Bush thought he was carrying out the will of the people. Most Americans wanted revenge for 9/11. Oil was not the reason. The fields were producing more oil before the invasion than they are doing now.

I have always knew oil was not the reason but that is the catch phrase that everybody loves. America has all the access to oil it need and through all the saber rattling, not one of these middle east countries are going to cut off their biggest customer. Look at what happened to that fool CHAVEZ down in South America when he acted a fool and tried to shame the U.S. by giving oil away. That country is in turmoil, JUST LIKE I SAID IT WOULD BE IN LESS THAN 5 YEARS, and they are pitching a bgyotch about that dictator right now.
