Dude, su was in the SWAC 20 years before JSU even thought about entering the SWAC, but even with that, you're only ONE title ahead. Each time I have to come behind folks like you and that Jrock dude to clear up the lies by omission you continue to make.

Fact of the matter is that no one even recognizes su in Black college football. You have no true history since the '60's. You have how many hall of famers? You have how many total NFL players? You have how many SWAC titles since the '70's?

Those Black college football titles don't mean jack because it's putting D-2 teams in with D-1 teams.
During the '80's and '90's, JSU had FAR better teams than any D-2 team but the D-2 team was given the title cause they lost one game from a sorry schedule while JSU lost two with a much tougher schedule.

You guys LOVE lying by omission but I won't let you get away with it.

That doesn't mean anything because you all ran from competition when we tallied all of our SWAC titles that you were not around for. S.U. has 18 SWAC titles. You all were not on Southern's level when we won the championships that you were not around for. Also, I mentioned this stuff is way too complex for you and some of your comrads to understand. Your 61% winning percentage is weaker than SU's because you played less games and will not be able to maintain it over the same period S.U. has.....geesh do I have to tell you people everything? :lol: :emlaugh:

:lol: :emlaugh: Ace Mumford was the 2nd BCF coach to be inducted in the College Football Hall of fame (Eddie Robinson being the first). So no one acknowledges S.U. but the College Football Hall of Fame. :lol: :emlaugh:

They're just befuddled, dazed and confused because S.U. is way ahead of them in all time wins and only 15 or so wins behind in being #1 in BCF (FCS). It is really tough when one has been told who their "Daddy" is but didn't believe it. Then they see hard core facts and it becomes a shocker. :lol: :emlaugh:

While I don't agree with the premise of this thread, the title is spot on! lol. Watching these guys argue that "61% is not equal to 61%" and "18 championships in 80 years > 16 championships in 56 years" has been one of the funniest things I've witnessed today. :emlaugh: Finish the week strong everyone!

It sure is laughable. Them su folks got a 20 year headstart on Mighty JSU and yet they're ONLY 1 championship ahead?!! ONE!! Imagine if JSU had been in the SWAC for those twenty years, while averaging at least 7 or 8 wins per season. We'd be light years ahead.

Like someone said earlier, all time wins mean nothing if teams didn't start the SAME year. You're giving your team credit for wins when the other team wasn't formed. Who does that with a straight face? I'll tell you who. Folks who are desperately trying to latch on to anything positive while leaving out the true fact that their team got a 20 year headstart and are only up by one title.

Let me repeat, when JSU and Grambling entered the SWAC in the late '50's, we took completely over after ten years and haven't looked back since. It was either Grambling or JSU winning the title. It was JSU and Grambling sending folks to the NFL, having NFL Hall of Famers retire time and again.
Nobody went to su looking for stars for the NFL. Heck, one year, JSU sent 16 players to the NFL and Grambling had a similar number another year. su came nowhere near sending that many players to the BIG LEAGUES.
That BCF title is just what it says....MYTHICAL, yet they even want to latch on to mere myths which includes lowly D-2 squads. Who does that? Desperate people, that's who. The NCAA don't even lump D-1 schools with D-2 schools.

Between 1970 and 1993, su had ZERO outright SWAC titles. That says it all. They didn't win an outright title in almost 25 years. Ain't no way you can claim to be an elite team while going title-less for 25 years....NO WAY....unless delusional is your middle name.

Dude you must have been writing those very words for su. It took su 20 years more to do what JSU did in 20 LESS years. Now that's a hard core fact.
