No highstepping, no rump-shaking, but a pretty good sound.

This show is from the 5th week of the season.

nice i don't particularly care for the running on the field by the whole band but other than that i was entertained...the sound is balanced!!

The Braveheart entry is just to keep things short so we don't get the football team penalized. Halftime is 17 minutes long and the show was right at 8 min 30 seconds.

good stuff man. i love corp style. But i think Madison Central would give them some comp!
There are a lot better marching bands around than us. We only practice 4 hours a week (extremely efficient). The better bands practice all summer, upto 12 hours / week, participate in 5-7 BOA competitions in the fall, and take auditions for marching band. Consequently, we are the biggest band in our area (by 75 kids) and we have only one MS feeding us. Ours is a football band and not a competition band. The places where our kids excel are in academics and on the stage with 3 concert bands and 4 jazz bands. It's a lot of fun.

I like hearing Madison Central play the song "The Horse", but I would luv to hear the "Boom" play it!

I have got to hear this Madison Central. Ironically, we played The Horse for pregame for 16 years until my arrangement of Get Ready made the switch. It is really a small world.

Yes, u must hear the great Madison Central! lol. Madison Central and Grenada are the corp style powerhouses in Mississippi.... MC has an excellent symphonic band too... but you talked about your group not doing much in marching season... MAN, you should really get them out there to some competitions, clearly this is a good group.

Ma-a-an that ^^^ is mighty good. Top notch. They are on par with several bands we have here locally. Good writing of both music and drills, and fantastic execution.

I found this on YouTube ... the band playing Get Ready in pregame this year. Try to look past the video and listen to the arrangement.
