Sean Penn 8
Jodie Foster 9
Denzel Washington 10 (He's possibly the G.O.A.T)
Tom Hanks 10
Jimmy Stewart 10 (Isn't he a little out of his decade here?)
Russell Crowe 8
Angela Basset 9.5 (Depth of range)
Robert De Niro 10
Edward Norton 7
Al Pacino 10
Kevin Spacey 9.5
Brad Pitt 8 (based on "Seven" alone)

Question: Why this particular list of actors/actresses?

Missing:
Samuel Jackson 8.5 (If on range alone)
Lawrence Fishburne 8.5
Halle Berry 9 (sister has range) -If she ever surpasses her "Introd. Dorothy Dandridge" performance she'll be a 10-
Cuba Gooding 8 ("Men of Honor" bumped him up .5)
Vivica Fox 7.5 (I haven't seen her range yet, but she player her role well)
Jada Pinkett Smith 7.5
Will Smith 8 (Range)
Nia Long 8 (Range)
Isiah Washington 7.5

For no particular reason really, Jimmy Stewart is there because he's probably my favorite actor of his generation and Vertigo is one of my top 20 films ever.
Nice ratings btw, except that i don't think Brad Pitt is a better actor than Ed Norton, he's proven himself in both Primal Fear and American History X, both pretty average films, his perfomaces is what stood out, impressive stuff.
Oh and there's many actors missing from the list:)Jack Nicholson, Toshiro Mifune, Marlon Brando and plenty of others.
I also like the actors you named, except maybe Laurence Fishburne, i'd like to name Morgan Freeman instead.

:)

Denzel, Tom Hanks and Jimmy Stewart, Robert DeNiro and Al Pacino...their careers speak for themselves.

Angela Bassett is on track to become the next black Oscar winner for Best Actress, not that she didn't deserve it for "What's Love Got To Do With It?" I'm waiting on her to get that perfect script that only SHE can pull off. It's coming! If anyone saw Nicole Kidman in "Dead Calm" from about eight years ago and "The Others" you know that she's deserving of that 8 I gave her. Kevin Spacey is probably one of my favorite male actors over the last 10 years.

Sean Penn got my respect for the role he played in DEAD MAN WALKING, it's a heavy movie, not a date movie or a movie you would want to watch with your friends, the movie has a real dark side but Sean Penn did an excellent job.

It might be 2 or 3 actors you might have forgotten, WESLEY SNIPES 10, GLYNN TURMAN 10, JAMES EARL JONES 10 and how can you forget ALFRED WOODARD, a most definitely a 10. Also there is another actor who does not get any props. His name is Robert Smith, he has a French middle name, can't think of it, but he played the light skin brotha in GET OFF THE BUS. I saw him when he played HUEY P. NEWTON that appeared on PBS last year. HE BLEW EVERYBODY AWAY who watched that movie. I give him a 10 also.
