This my favorite show on TV right now. The only other show I really watch besides scandals. Spacy is a beast. I am ready for season 2. Frank going to have to kill a few more people.
I'm ready to binge watch.
Nice!We watched the first three on Vday.... Man, I had a ribeye steak, crabcakes, scotch and house of cards.
On episode 6... Frank is Gangsta.
Netflix has noticed Verizon has reduced its speed to their customers trying to watch House of Cards and other shows through Verizon FiOS. It seems like Verizon is trying to lead a double dipping scandal by charging their users for internet service and also charging the media providers.

Looks like it’s more than just Verizon. . .
Netflix cuts deal with Comcast to speed service
Netflix has agreed to pay Comcast to ensure that its movies and TV shows stream more quickly, the latest evidence of a shift in the balance of power in favor of Internet service providers and the likelihood of rising prices for consumers.
Emboldened by a mid-January federal appeals court ruling that eliminated "net neutrality" rules, which had prohibited Internet providers from prioritizing content, Comcast and others cable companies are showing signs they will take a more aggressive stance in how content streams through their "pipes."
Calling it "a mutually beneficial" agreement, Netflix, whose content accounts for nearly a third of evening Internet traffic, and Comcast, the nation's largest Internet provider and cable operator, said Sunday the deal will provide Comcast customers "a high-quality Netflix video experience for years to come." Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

If I pay a internet provider to speed up my internet connection by allowing me more bandwidth, then I expect my internet service to be faster. Verizon should not be slowing down my connection to stream movies because they want the media provider (Netflix) to pay them a fee. The article I posted stated that Verizon slowed down Netflix customers streaming capabilities by 14%, while others internet providers remained the same during the same time period. The deal Netflix made with Comcast is to help Netflix stream movies faster to their customers, which means Comcast will probably have a dedicated line of bandwidth for Netflix movies. Intentionally slowing down people bandwidth should be illegal, since individuals have already paid Verizon to provide them internet service.
I am just on episode 6 now. I will say I didn't like him killing the ol' reporter girl. I kinda wanted them to do more with their jumpoff/informant relationship. The freaky Japanese Billionaire caught me all the way off guard from the opening scene of that episode.
You are right Verizon is putting it to their subscribers but I think Comcast is no better. The way I was looking at it is Comcast is making you pay more just to watch TV even with a faster connection. The whole purpose of cord cutting is not to pay companies like Comcast or Verizon any more money to watch TV. Comcast will be charging Netflix a fee that will be eventually passed on to the consumers. So to me, it is still paying more money for something that was free at one time in my life . . . and it’s legal. It’s paying extra for Netflix today, so what will be next . . . YouTube? If that’s the case, then cable TV will be the cheaper option then streaming over the internet. Again, what’s the point of being a cord cutter?
I wouldn't have a problem with Verizon claiming Netflix as being a data hog, but Verizon is trying to get their customers to pay more to stream their movies. Maybe Verizon should update their movie collection and lower their prices for movie streaming before they attack Netflix for providing the people what they want when it comes to streaming movies.
O.K., I see the total picture now, after reading other articles, The Netflix/Comcast deal from what I understand, will cost Netflix less money but a faster connection which like you said is good. This deal has more to do with a lot of back-end internet stuff, and to put it in laymen’s terms, Netflix is sort of cutting out the middle man and going straight to Comcast . . .dedicated line as you stated. . .to get better service to their customers. I’m so suspicious about the Comcast /Time Warner Deal because I think Comcast is getting too big, having too much power, and will be giving more crappy service for more money. In the article I posted, I saw “Netflix has agrees to pay Comcast “and “likelihood of rising prices,” and went off halfcocked on one of my Illuminati new world order conspiracy theory tangents. So Verizon is the big bad wolf.
