Congratulations to the following bands chosen to perform at the 2008 Honda Invitational Battle of the Bands!

Virginia State University and Shaw University, representing the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA);

Bethune-Cookman College and Norfolk State University, representing the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC);

Tuskegee University and Albany State University, representing the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC);

Texas Southern University and the University of Arkansas At Pine Bluff, representing the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC); and

North Carolina Central University and Winston-Salem State University, both independents.

I'm glad we basically have the SWAC working on a rotation. Everybody is getting a chance to shine.
I'm not hating about what band should be there and what band shouldn't because I'm going to be there watching it anyway.

Congrats to TxSo & UAPB.

Represent Pine Bluff, alot of them east coast cats dont know what yall about.
NO recycled shows fromt he season.

COME HARD or Dont COME AT ALL!!!!!!!!

The SWAC is gonna kill em. This is gonna be like the year that JSU and PV repped the SWAC. TxSO and UAPB are gonna take all of the energy out of the crowd so BCC and Norfolk (NSU is gonna be boring as usual standing in place anyway) will seem average after the SWAC bands bring down the house.

What are you talking about TP??

NSU kills it on the field. They had the best show at last years Honda and they have Paul Adams arranging.

Dont sleep on NSU. They have to prove that last year WASNT a fluke.

Everyone has their opinion. NSU was the BEST sounding last year but that halftime show was boring as hell. When you stand in place and just play music the whole time, you can sound good. I am sure you need to review the clip. They have simple drills too....like most MEAC bands.
