Robinson wasn't moved because he was no good at quarterback; he was moved because he is good as a receiver. He may not have performed at the standards required by this staff, but he was good enough to take us to the SCG. Robinson is good enough to play at qb if we need him there in the future.
Keith was No. 1 on the depth chart; he didn't have to gain on Luke.
Jones played in the first scrimmage and, I believe, threw a touchdown pass.
Dorman is a smart kid. He picked up on the plays after just one week as the No. 2 qb. He has super speed, a great arm, and displayed the leadership demanded of a winner. He was a first team all-state player, played in the state's all-star game, and was the game's best player. He has D-1A skills. You mean that JSU would not offer a scholarship to a player like that, but would risk allowing such a super kid to sign with a competitior, while JSU would only try to get him to walk-on? Now do you understand why posters on the board question the decision-making competency of the JSU staff?

I doubt very seriously if we would have signed Dorman. And he certainly would not have gotten a full scholarship out of us........ask the other QB you signed.

How could anyone try to sit here and sell somebody on Spence, Keith, Robinson or Luke? The first three were atrocious in the Spring. Looking at those three, you probably think Luke is All-World.
As for Dorman, annie mae is the only school that recruited him as a QB, if you want to talk about coaching decisions. :smh:
And save all his accolades. Being All-State in Maryland ain't saying much.
If he has I-A skills, it must be as a DB or WR.

The kid was a Texas Top 100 player out of Houston Sterling,
He was about 5-11, 185 with 4.5 speed and a strong arm
He is now our WR, so yes, maybe we would have signed Dorman.
But go ahead and let Dorman start. We have a LB that literally benches 3 Dorman's and has 4 inches and 80 pounds on him who would love to meet the kid.

BTW, was T.C. Taylor (GR?s, Heisman candidate that was better than Mike Vick) a failure when he was moved to WR? I don't think so. Had it not been for TC and Story your season would have been over before they got started and the situation you are in now would have been going on for four years now.

McLaurin would have started for them last year. Straight out of the gate. And Robinson is not the athlete that T.C. was.
