Hey Jags, What's "Really Going On" With The Softball Program?

Funny you didn't mention SU track teams. Last season when I said SU would contend next season, you and mother Tigers laughed. SU men's and Women's Track teams both finished in second with very very young teams. But back to the question SU softball have taken a huge steps towards competing. They start a lot of freshmen also.

What did they mean by not fitting to be more specific (If anyone knows)

From what I gather he was to tough on them (Probably treated like he would any team and not like females) and neither them or the parents care for it.

Just my take

If you wanna call Southern scoring 130.5 points compared to the champion scoring 236.50 contending then ok.

Why mention track when the topic was SOFTBALL? Some of us know how to stay on topic.

Hey Cleb, can you give me a link with a breakdown of the events and scoring. This got by me though I was aware S.U. had a hotshot 100 and 200 man that was vying this year. Who won it?

Good Post, The S.U. men are very close to getting back to where they should be. Looks like Gram got us by long distance runs. Props to the Women too though their journey is further away.

The topic of the thread is S-O-F-T-B-A-L-L.

Staying with the thread......talked to the parent of an su softball player Saturday during the second game. She said what happened.....Donald Sterling send help!

It's not a diversion. The answer to your question was given.

And he has been gone for close to 2 months. What ever the problem was, it was dealt with and team has moved on.

Funny you only bring up the women's score. The men were definitely competitive with Grambling. Going from finishing nearly last to 2nd is a major improvement.
