Heavyweight Division Heating Up. (Boxing Fans)

I think Povetkin can beat Wilder. I am picking Joshua to beat Martin. Thompson can upset Ortis, and Fury should beat Wladimir again.

Povetkin will get knocked out. This is a different style of fight for Povetkin. Wilder is too quick, too tall, too much arm length and packs too much power for this guy. Wilder will wait for him to throw a punch, drop his head, get off balance, and after he miss, Wilder will land that nasty left or right to the head.

I can see Wilder knocking him out, but I can also see Povetkin winning a decision.

I honestly stopped watching boxing after the heavyweight class fell off. I mean yea I know Floyd is good, but his fights bore me to death.

The heavyweights are back to being exciting again. You should check out these fights. None of the guys mentioned above are boring. The all come to fight.

I don't like Martin referring to himself as a God.

Lol. Martin is tripping. This is one of the few times that the heavyweight champ is the underdog in his first title defense. Buster Douglas might have been the last one when he fought Holyfield. Martin needs to prove himself because his belt doesn't mean much to the boxing world. It's more papered than Wilder's belt. However, Wilder has been promoted much better. If Martin wins, (which I don't think he will), he needs to beg for a shot to unify the paper titles with Wilder. In fact, Martin would be much better for Wilder to face before Fury.

Anthony Joshua becomes the new IBF Heavyweight Champion of the world with a 2nd round KO of Martin.

Anthony Joshua is defending his IBF title against 3 time champ Wladimir Klitschko on Showtime right now. I think AJ will defend his title tonight.

I went to Wilder's last fight vs Washington (last minute fill in). Washington was giving him the business in the first 3-4 rounds. Then Wilder turned it on and it was over. The insiders say Wilder is running but he says he wants to unify the belts. Side note that was my first title fight shook Larry Holmes hand and spoke with Holyfield cool experience.
