What's up with all this cussing and attitudes about a terrible, dilapidated, drainage poor baseball field? Did the folks who built Lee Hines know that the Mississippi flooded in that area? Seems like you guys would've gotten the problems solved by now.
There is such a thing as a machine to drain water from soak laden fields. Perhaps southern should invest in one. Problem solved after a few hours.
Now where's that JAG89 when he needs to be commenting?
SU’s entire campus has issues because of the river. The river doesn’t flood on SU’s campus, actually SU is the highest point in BR. Do some research next time before speaking.

I did. So where's the backup plan? What about a water pumping machine that'll pump that water out in a matter of minutes? You do know that they have those kinds of machines available.
When JSU was having field issues, they had their games at a local park. As large as Baton Rouge is, there has to be an alternate field somewhere the school could play on.
Southern can't work out a deal with the Baton Rouge Parks and Recreation Center? Baton Rouge Memorial Sports Complex? Central Sports Park?

You can’t be that slow lol. They have pumps. It’s usually only early in the season they have issues, but the river is very high. You know they have underground streams all over the place, which has caused issues with buildings all over campus.

FINAL:
Incarnate Word 31, PV 2
UIW scored 7 in the 6th and 16 in the 7th

But according to Fiyah it's TSU's fault.

NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. -- The Grambling State University baseball team nearly pulled off a stunning upset on Tuesday night to No. 2 Arkansas as the Tigers held a three-run in the eighth inning, but the Razorbacks used a four-run eighth to cap the comeback in a 7-6 victory at Dickey Stephens Park.

When you play the #2 team in the country and lose by 1 that's something.
