HBCU Baseball: 2/27 - 3/5

Never stopped. But y'all really excited to beat non scholarship SU lol.
You know they're excited that they can beat us in something since they can't get the job done in football. They're going to lose their minds if they get knocked out of the basketball tournament again by our teams this year. lol

You said it yourself

My championship team in 04 had less than five full-ride scholarship to split among our players. Other teams had 11.7 full-ride scholarships to split among the team.
Our dumb azz president at the time, Edward Jackson cut SU baseball scholarships after the historic 03 season.

Oh well. I guess they gone crazy.... again.

We are on probation and don't have all of our scholarships.
  • A reduction of baseball scholarships by 2.3 during the 2016-17 academic year, by 2.3 during the 2017-18 academic year and by 2.3 during the 2018-19 academic year.

2.3 does not make a huge dent - especially if you are recruiting kids that receive academic scholarships. One of our players who was drafted by the Astros in 2005 was on a full academic scholarship.

We did a lot of things bad on the mound today, and we pitched all freshmen — all walk-on freshmen. We ask them to do a lot, but that’s what happens on Game 3. Somebody’s got to step up.”
