HBCU Accmulative Ticket Sales from 2005 to 2013

Which means they are cheating other programs to subsidize their athletic program.

definitely semantics.....the bottom line is the school subsidized the athletic department to the tune of 6 million in 2013. Athletics is a huge liability at PVAM. Certainly and without a DOUBT that money could have been used in other areas of the university.

It definitely is semantics. Also, some folks definitely like to sugarcoat things to make them look and smell good.

I see all the 2 bit analysis don't know how it's done. J4L really knows but he's playing coy.

Now I get it, Prairie View has a money tree on its campus that actually produces a cash of School Funds every year for its athletic department. I guess the more fertilizer/shit is added to the tree, the more School Funds the tree produces. Maybe J4L can elaborate exactly how that works.

This is the methodology for NCAA athletic department revenue database, particularly "School Funds".

School funds: Includes both direct and indirect support from the university, including state funds, tuition, tuition waivers etc. as well as federal Work Study amounts for athletes. It also includes university-provided support such as administrative costs, facilities and grounds maintenance, security, risk management, utilities, depreciation and debt service.

It is nothing sadder than someone trying to go against the grain on something that is obvious or trying to act like they are something that they're not (pretentious). :smh:  :emlaugh:

Isn't that how it is done in the hood? Collect a huge welfare check so that you can park your brand new Cadillac Escalade with rims in front of your raggedy rental house.

Yeah, I don't blame that mentality on PV administration though. Those folks in "the know" realize the financial condition of their university athletics. It is some of those delusional fans that makes one think of the analogy you alluded to. :emlaugh:

After being the first school to go 80 straight, I guess whatever it takes to make their fans look good and feel proud.

"This shit is embarrassing. Someone tell our administration we need some benefits."

In my post above, it gets worse when you subtract Student Fees, since Student Fees and School Funds are both considered subsidies by the NCAA.

Just say you were taken to school and will never worry about where S.U. put BC money again. :emlaugh:

Now you know there are some Black folks that hates the fact that Southern and Grambling make money off the Bayou Classic.
