LOL@ SU/JSU getting krunk for it, one mo gin.

RRraaaa, TP? Our "depleted" defense  returns all 11 (actually 19 lol). :swink: That same "depleted" D that was 2nd in the SWAC vs the run. :read: Now, our pass D? Well.... I think that's being addressed. :D But our one positive should be the return for the FROSH who led the SWAC in interceptions and was 2nd team all-SWAC. :retard: We'll be experienced in the D backfield. :read:

I think you run one of those D2 defenses like AAMU. That is why you won't be able to beat any passing teams....like JSU. :wavey:

But y'all ain't a passing team brah. Y'all a running team. Based on what I saw last fall.

Based on what I saw last fall, they are NEITHER a passing or running team.

Based on what I saw, I don't know if they even qualify as a TEAM!

I think you run one of those D2 defenses like AAMU. That is why you won't be able to beat any passing teams....like JSU.

But that d2 defense held your offense to 6 points, while the Bulldog offense scored 52 points. So what does that say about your TEAM?

It's fun making you look stupid! Fun...and easy!

Right now, we are neither. We are a team in transition BUT there are other passing teams in the conference that that AAMUish defense can't beat. We do have this waiting on you though along with WR's already on the roster like Jamar Johnson.

1 Chasio Thomas Coahoma CC WR 6-4, 215
2 Michael Townsend Forest WR 6-2, 195
3 Chris Johnson Hinds CC WR 6-3, 205
4 Roy James Reserve (La.) East St. John WR 5-11, 175
5 Cordario Calvin Greenville Weston WR 5-11, 180
6 Jerrod Gaines Jones JC WR 6-0, 205

and these:

1 William Brack Memphis Carver QB 6-2, 210
2 James Patterson Noxubee County QB 6-2, 215
3 Jimmy Oliver* Pearl River CC QB 6-1, 175

To compliment our 6'4" Sophomore QB and McLaurin.

We already have a stable of RB's but we still recruited more and then we went and got some of these:

1 Jeffrey Bolton Ridgeland OL 6-5, 260
2 Antonio Colston Mobile Davidson OL 6-1, 300
3 Trey Curtis Vicksburg OL 6-4, 310
4 Anthony Davis Co-Lin CC OL 6-3, 325
5 Karlin Givens Ridgeland OL 6-4, 280
6 Keith Gray Hinds CC OL 6-3, 320
7 Michael Harness Hargrave (Va.) Military OL 6-3, 305
8 Mikael Harshaw Memphis Kirby OL 6-3, 310
9 Emmanuel Muhammad Franklin County OL 6-3, 310
10 Kenny Stallings Noxubee County OL 6-3, 300

:jump:

D2 defense????

#1 ranked passing defense
#1 ranked rushing defense
#1 ranked TOTAL defense
#1 ranked scoring defense

Futhermore... JSU's defense (if thats what you want to call it) gave up 650 yards to AAMU's offense
394 rushing and Luke was 20-24 passing for 256.... I guess JSU had that NAIA defense.

According to YOU, the Bell curve was supposed to revolutionize coaching.

I guess if you call nearly being strung up by your fans "revolutionizing," then he succeeded.

No one cares for the stats of that D2 defense. Time and time again, you all have shown that your defense sucks. That is the reason you can't win anything. The year that the SWAC does not have ANY good passing teams, you will win the SWAC. Pray for it to happen one day.

Yes, you molested our defense. Big deal...that was last year everyone molested our defense. It's not like it's something you would normally do.

You know Black folks don't like change so the Bell experiment failed. The thing is, we are big time enough to have an experiment and still remain among the elite in Black College Football. Guess what??

I have no idea how October and November will go. I think that our losses to TNState lately have been due to playcalling. Comegy's staff has shown that they know how to gameplan and call plays so the first 4 games should be JSU wins due to coaching and our first string should be in tact. AAMU would not have scored that much on our first string last year. The last 7 games of our season will depend on how many transfers show up and how our depth is. To me, all you need is a decent passing game to beat AAMU. Will we have that by game 8 or 9, who knows? Will we have enough depth to keep us competitive an entire season?

I don't think AAMU is a major force in football so basically, if we get decent, we will win. AAMU benefited from a horrible SWAC last year (granted, I did not even follow SWAC football like I should have) but Alcorn, JSU, SU, and AlaState (the recent staples of the SWAC) were not in their usual form. AAMU was probably about the same as usual but looked better with everyone else having down seasons. The SWAC as a whole needs to step it up again. Has A&M improved over the off season?

If Bell were our coach, I could see how last year would be relevant. However, do you expect us to run the same system this year? Do you expect us to have the same injuries/depletion this year? sheesh.

Again, no one cares what that D2 defense did LAST year. Let's not forget, your team was 5-6 just two years ago so you don't have much room to judge.

...and the ONLY decent team in the SWAC last year, raped you TWICE!!! I shole hope that you don't measure yourself by how you did last year because if you do, you are in a world of trouble. Jones needs a great improvement to occur to compete for a championship.

More Lamentations.

I was waiting for the down year isht to roll off your tongue. :retard:

Full of "ifs" "woulds," "shoulds" and "coulds." The main one that you continue to ignore is DIDN'T!

Has JSU improved in the off season? The ninja turtle came and assembled a completely different team. He even got rid of the halfway decent scrubs you had the past season, only to start new ones. He hasn't coached not ONE game there yet, and with THAT, you think you are going to make it above .500?

If you are on your knees prayin', you need to stay down there.

You must have us mixed up with Bell's second stellar season. Wait, you weren't even 5-6 then. Jones hasn't been 5-6 since he's been on the Hill. I know that you're dumb, but you don't have to tell lies.

I can't wait to see your Lamentations after Loss-tober.

Compared to JSU, you were.

JSU with Hampton and NWState (playoff teams gave us a losing record) 4-7

You played Allen and 0-11 TxSo and got a winning record.

Don't be fooled by the level of competition. You were 5-6.

Bell could have had a winning record had we played Allen and an 0-11 team. Take the blinders off.

Using that logic, I guess JSU was actually undefeated then, huh? :retard:

You forgot the word DIDN'T again, you lamebrain! Dumb@ss Bell could have played Allen everygame, and that loser wouldn't have had a winning record.
