Like what MikeBigg said earlier this week, this game will be won by a big defensive play. Game Over. Good job Tigers and nice job of keeping your poise. I don't want to take anything away from Valley either. You guys played some ball today. :tup:

LOL I guess he did, but Valley really lost this game in the first half. They had chances to get a big lead and only got 3 points out of two red zone drives in the 1st quarter. Great game and effort by both teams.
 
Was that TD really called for? They would've looked stupid if Valley got an Int. Why not run the clock out?
 
Grambling scores again with 1:33 left.

I kinda figured that Valley would blow their lead like they always do. Valley does not have depth. A lot of SWAC teams only have a strong first string and that is their downfall. Valley will never be able to finish games until they start to find a way to get comparable recruits to the top teams in the SWAC.

In reality, GSU had the ball deep in Valley territory and Valley couldn't stop the clock. GSU didn't have to throw, but they weren't wrong for throwing either. In the end, it's the defense's job to stop you.
