I understand where you're coming from...we both are from the old school (though I'm a bit older than you) that believed in a certain "code" among football coaches. Some coaches don't give a dayum about that "code" and continue to focus on "their" team for "this" season.
Spears has the mentality that reminds me of our old high school cheer:

See, I got the good sense to know that there's a difference in you scoring a lot of points on an overmatched team (ASU vs PV) and a classless act of purposefully attempting to pile on a team. That score that Bama St put up in '91 (92 pts)? I was there.
2nd team, 3rd team, waterboy, sports meds, cheerleaders, faculty, administration - heck, everybody played in that game (thought I came out the stands and played for ASU lol). We were severely outmanned that year. So, y'all can stop that ASU nut riding right there. Ditto for what Rob did to us in '91 (84pts). He ran the ball w/ 2nd/3rd stringers. Not first teamers and chunking it down the field.

No args from this side of the Sabine river. :| If that was OUR coach doing some dumb isht like that, he couldn't HELP but hear from me and neither could the AD/President almost IMMEDIATELY. I find it hard believe all this energy is being spent to hate on the G-MEN. Take this same energy and enthusiasm to emphasize to your Administrators that your Coaches need to recruit higher quality players. Washington State beat us 48-7 and we didn't whine. We picked ourselves up off the ground and put our foot in the next opponent arse. (Sad part is a lot of the people on this board made fun of us getting our arse kick by Washington State: OH IT'S NOT FUNNY NOW!) :lol:
