Grambling Fans Are Being Simple-Minded About Donte’ Jackson's Exit

Had Jack’s wife been from Grambling, Ruston, or Simboro he would be still here with continued extended contracts. Why? Because wifey would not complain, Jack would have no stress trying to satisfy her, and she would have friends and family. That type of life is very important.

From what I’m told being a coach’s wife is hard. You develop relationships based on your husband and you have to constantly watch out for people who want to get close to you to get their husbands, brothers, or boyfriends on in order to meet the coach.

lol - yep

biggest issue at Grambling was the happiness of the wife (if they came which is another story (lol)

their happiness made or broke the coach lol

Gram leveled up IMO by getting the coach from FAMU>
Jackson is not a good coach.
FAMU coach lost to Hughley… said all i needed to know about him because we were horrible this year…. He applied for the job here also. Jackson is the best fit for US…He knows the Alabama JUCO system

What u gonna do with JUCOs in this day and age?

You clearly out of the loop….

Maybe I am. I know almost everything, but that is where "almost" comes in.
IMO, JUCOs today are not what they were 5 years ago. If you have the transfer portal, what is the need for JUCO players?
It seems that only the best high school players get D1 offers, and the leftovers (who are not so good) are forced to go JUCO or D2.
Sure, they can develop more at the JUCO, but the pedigree at a JUCO is not what it used to be.
The only reason to go to a JUCO nowadays is if you don't have the grades.
BUT... I could be wrong.
