Grambling, FAMU and others may want to consider this option

If my team had an open date down the road, I'd sure be trying to find someone with that same open date. But that only works for non-conference games.

Yeah, I know.

The only open date left for Gram is Nov. 17th. I'm searching like a MOFO for schools with the same open date. Chances are that it will have to be a D-1 school. D-1AA schools usually rap up the season on this date.

According to the SWAC Composite Schedule, Gram also has an open date on Oct 6.

GSU should be looking for a Oct 6th game opponent, but needs to keep the week prior to the BC open. A La Tech-GSU game would be cool!

I say we should play Tusk Inst. and add to our dominance of bama schools. I think this would take care of who was the the BCF Champ last year.

BORN ON GRAMBLING FOOTBALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11

Tuskegee University is not Open on 10/6. we have a conference game with Albany State. Plus we missed a game too. We need to make up a conference game that was scheduled this past weekend.

Plus Black 13,

It wouldn't take care of who was BCF champs last year, because last year's teams wouldn't be playing. This year's teams would.

That was cute and typical.:D

We need to find some team to play on Oct. 6, because I need a real game to go see that weekend. There are no options available here in BR. I think we should keep Nov. 17 open as always. I usually need that rest up prior to the Bayou Classic. But that's just me talking. I know that wherever and whenever they play I will be there.

They, La Tech Alum and Fans, don't want to play Grambling. That was a topic on their message board. They for one said they don't want to play anyone that would have a chance of beating them. That is why they were looking at Valley and Prairie View last year. (Not trying to smack.) They said they didn't have to worry about them. I asked why didn't they look at Southern or Jackson State, since they didn't want to play dear old Grambling. They also said it would be to much racial tension in the air. Like I told them, that is BS. But I do think the Grambling-La Tech game would be a great one. The game would be a good one as well, whoever host the game would definitely have a packed house. I think Grambling would have more fans there than Tech (they don't travel at all, even to the home games).

Just my $19.01

TECH WOULD NOT PLAY GRAM FOR ALL THE MONEY IN THE WORLD.THEY ARE TOO SCARED OF LOOSING.NOT JUST THE GAME BUT PRIZED RECRUITS AS WELL.TECH IS NOT STUPID THEY SCHEDULE VALLEY(NO SMACK) AND DAYUM NEAR GOT EMBARASSED.MCNEESE DOES THE SAME THING ALSO ALCORN STATE. THEY HAD TO MAKE THEM GET A GAME WITH GRAM NEXT YEAR.THEY MUST HAVE A GOOD TEAM RETURNING NEXT THAT THEY FELL CONFIDENT IN.IT DOESN'T MATTER CAUSE THAT A WHIPPIN THEY WILL RECEIVE WILL BE SERIOUS.
