Ya'll better believe that Dr. Mason has a strong influence in this. He is sitting back trying to play the role of the good guy but one of his goals is to shut down some hbcu's. He was the driving force to merge valley and alcorn into JSU but he lost this battle.
 



If they see colleges enrollments dipping they need to first, find ways to bring programs to that university so the universities can attract people. If that doesn't work and enrollment continues to drop then it's time to talk about a merger but just wanted to merge first. So damn backwards.
