What's the cost of 89-87 octane where you are??
I filled my tank today and I payed $2.19 /gallon of 87 octane!:redhot: :redhot:

dis $hit just ain't right. it amazes me how they can find a reason to raise prices for the slightest "world event",,, and can never lower the prices. :redhot: It's a conspiracy. IT'S A CONSPIRACY I SAY!!!! :redhot: :redhot: There's no other way you can explain the lowly consumer ALWAYS getting screwed no matter WHAT the world conditions are!!!!:redhot: :redhot:

Prices are extremely high. I paid $1.79 for 87 octane at SAM's club in Ducanville, TX.

I have been told that if everybody boycotted one of the major oil companies for one day, it would have a major impact on the price.

EX. No one bought gas at EXXON for one day, then they would be forced to lower prices and in turn, the rest would follow.

Sort of how airline tickets work. If AA lowers there tickets by $10, then so would Delta, United, etc.

This sit dayum sho' ain't right! Got dayum Republicans and dem pucking oil companies. Everytime they want to raise prices they can alwsays find a plucking excuse.:redhot: :redhot: :redhot: :redhot: :redhot: :redhot: :redhot: :redhot: :redhot: :redhot: :redhot: :redhot:

Freaking sombeeches and their economists and Board Of Directors...........pucking arseholes!:redhot: :redhot: :redhot: :redhot: :redhot: :redhot: :redhot: :redhot: :redhot: :redhot: :redhot:

I'm talking.......dayum near takes a weeks paycheck to pay for gas for one(1) month......KISS MY *****......"L" yeah it's a pucking conspiracy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:redhot: :redhot: :redhot: :redhot: :redhot: :redhot:

BILL CLINTON where are when ALL of AMERICA NEEDS YOU..........at least you only screwed selected women one at a time and it didn't cost me a weeks paycheck!

you said it better than me.
in memphis-premium is up to $1.80 and rising. i have a freeking suv-tahoe and it kills me. i work 45 min from my home so you can imagine the mileage. i would vote for al sharpton because with that perm, he has owned a caddi, deuce & 25 etc. he can relate to urban problems, to hell with international policy, let "us" have some domestic relief for at least 1yr before republicans have him killed.

I already know where most of my money will be going once I hit Los Angeles this weekend:redhot:

:lmao: Everything here in Sunnyvale where I have stopped is $2-teens.

And you know what peez me off the most? Sitting in my care listening to the news and listening to them reporting what the oil company's rationale is for the rise in PRICES!!!!:redhot:

THEM FUGGIN' MAGGOTS NEVER MISS AN OP TO UP THE PRICES FOR THE SLIGHTEST THING!!! :redhot:

The blackout on the east coast

The pipeline break in the southwest

"lower inventory levels",,, (yeah right. )

What peez me off the most is these slimey b-stards NEVER lower the prices back to what they were before a "crisis" or they lower prices to 4 cents above what they were before the crisis at MOST!!! :redhot:

I don't know who got it best; lawyers, oil companies, or insurance companies!!! :redhot:

I guess I am lucky. The prices here are "only" 1.49 to 1.59 a gallon. But I have not looked that closely at the prices and think that they will rise. Plus, this will not help me in the wallet if I have to drive 45 miles to work. Add to that that I need major repairs on my vehicle. (The car is burning up gasoline faster that usual in the first place.) I guess it will be another year without a visit to the PV-Grambling game.

:uhoh: :uhoh: :uhoh:

Well, if the gas prices goes any higher, I will park this pick-up truck and catch the frigging bus.:redhot: This don't make no dayum sense.

And you know, it ain't because I don't have the money, its the principle of the thing. :redhot: There is no reason for gas to be this high.:redhot:

And you know what?

All this BS about alternative fuels get on my nerves! There will never be an alternative fuel until the oil companies figure out how to control the alternative fuel market!!! There's probably a simple, cheap alternative fuel (err, hydrogen for example) right now that someone could produce to compete with gas, but it is probably being blocked through all kinds of maneuvering!! It all works out great too because even the back-to-nature idiots and their protesting of drilling off the U.S. coast and in Alaska gives the companies YET ANOTHER reason to say,,, "welp, folks, not having access to our oil reserves limits inventory and raises price." I'm gonna invest in an oil company d-mit.

I think the major reason is they are cashing in on the travel season. A big percentage of Americans will hit the roads this weekend, so don't look for prices to come down until after the holiday.

I won't be adding to their pocket books, I'm staying my azz at home and so is my vehicle.

Well the only trip I will be taking is to the hospital! Maternity Leave is why my car won't be moving except to go to the store...and that is less than 1 mile from the house...

yes, gas prices are extremely high right now and I don't really know why. Is the war still causing all this turmoil?

I pay $1.49 to 1.59 for regular unleaded...I think that's 87 octane.

But they run that rubbish EVERY YEAR!! I REMEMBER THE SAME SONG LAST YEAR, AND THE YEAR BEFORE THAT, AND THE YEAR BEFORE THAT, (continue repeating about 4, 5 times here)

The gas prices are out of control. A pipe line burst in Phoenix and their prices went throught the roof. In some places the cost for a gallon of 87 octane was 3.99. :eek2: :eek2: Gas here in Baton Rouge is running about $1.57-$1.63 We have NEVER had prices that high. We should have some of the lowest gas prices being that we have one of the largest oil refineries right here in the city.

To add insult to injury the reports on the local news are stating that the gas prices in the Greater Baton Rouge area will go up another 15 cents because we'll start having to use reformulated fuel because we have high ozone levels. Ain't that some schit. :redhot: :redhot: :redhot:

I agree. And if anyone comes up with an alternative fuel source, he had better watch his back. Cause his life won't be worth a bucket of hot spit.

you bet-cho arse on that. i would even go as far as to say that there have probably been many who have done just that and have gotten whacked or bought out or suckered into vices that lead to their ultimate destruction/demise. i'm no conspiracy theory hack,, but man,,,, sometimes I wonder. :(

It is just a big conspiracy.......gas is bought in futures, so the gas we are using today was bought and paid for many months ago. That crap in Phoenix is just plain ole supply and demand. Gas prices here went up about .15 cents in about a 4 day span a week ago. They are making fools out of us and cashing it in all the way to the bank. It's time for the Iraq'is to start paying the US back in oil. When the UN was contolling their oil for humanity, the UN was making millions with just about 4-5% of it. Since we are there now and have been given controll by the UN we should be doing 2-3 times that amount and should be flooding the market to even make OPEC lower their price. Nothing but the rich getting richer, just look at the VP and his holdings in Haliburton.

Even Micheal Savage had to admit the other day that "there's something rotten in Denmark" here. His contention was that after the U.S. went into Iraq and the oil started flowing, the prices would drop maybe below a dollar. didn't happen. Even he is now suggesting something ain't right about this. No matter what happens there, i don't think it will matter. they will always figure out a way to control oil and keep prices high.

Well my cost for gas today was $1.48 for 87 octane. The price has dropped by 10 cents from 3 weeks ago.

I waiting on the oil price to drop to below $1.00. If that were to happen, then the economy might pick up because travel by car would be more affordable and people would be more willing to shell out the big bucks for the big trucks and cars we Americans love so much.
