GOOGLE MISHAP: VISA CC# is searchable


Actually, this is not a google mishap. Google is working as designed. Anytime you use your CC# over the internet and that number is stored or saved, then google can do a search on it. If your CC# hasn't been used over the internet, it will return a result.

My sister checking account was hit hard because she used that dayum PayPal crap. Your information is bounced off several different servers before your transaction is completed. You really take a big risk by using your CC# online, and your checking information.
 



Thats why I tend to stay away from buying stuff online from smaller companies. Some of those mom and pop shop sites don't realize that google and other search engines will get to files that you don't think a user will get to.

There is a tool out there that will go to a site and bring back to me every file under that tree...regardless if it is html or not. If its there and not by some means encrypted or in a protected directory I will get it. And this is a free and legal tool.

She got done with PayPal?

The way the world seems to be moving you will at some point have to start trusting your cc# and bank info online. Security is going to have to catch up.
