Initially the thread was about one of our basketball players leaving. Somehow the thread got switched to football talk. I'm sure a football thread will be started sometime today/this week.

At least you NOT trying to deny that you sucked.. .. LOL

Did we play our best? No. Did we make mistakes? Yes. Should the game have been a blow out? Depends on who you ask.

Is my next response going to be "BUT YOU(jsu) STILL LOST?"

Did we play our best? No.

Yes you did.. you played the very best you could. SU could not have played a better game. Every team will make mistakes but you didn't make but one costly mistake... and JSU made you pay for it. See how that works?

Clean it up. Lol. I don't think any SWAC team has multiple freshmen playing this year. I know we don't. I see how you glossed over my Gram comment. Lol.

Jaguar Nation can go ahead and mark September 27, 2014 off as a loss. The SU Football players will not beat the Alcorn Killers...and boy, do we have some killers.

No I saw it...let me break it down : swac schools are lucky if they get a three star qb to cone, FSU does not have that problem. A 3,4,5 star qb could probably start anywhere...FSU or swac. See there are exceptions and there are norms. NORMALLY, you have growing pains with frosh playing skill positions. For example, NORMALLY a frosh qb at jsu shows flashes but is not good enough to start. Kent was the exception. Isn't Gram the only school to have won back to back championships? Not many swac schools have done that because it isn't the norm, gram was the exception. So again, any team playing frosh at key spots will have growing pains, normally.

BBF, they're in denial. They don't want to admit the fact that they don't even know who the starting QB will be. How can you not know that at this point in the game.
I won't even talk about the lack of a running game...and certainly no run or pass defense.

Being that you never played a down of football thus having no knowledge of football, how would you know? Looks like the D.M. isn't the only PARROT 'round these parts.

smh

Hey Jax, what kind of defense will su have this year?

The kind of defense that neither you nor TP would able to understand, because neither of you played football.
