Perhaps you didn't realize how much influence you have...
Perhaps you just remember the good ole days of the TSPN...
The days when the posters were not all sheep that followed "The Leader"...

Remember when it was basically guys like You, Robber, Mighty Dog, Mike, SOG, GSupe, Suge, Piso...er Panthro, BG Jag, (even DTJag) etc... Then yall got joined by guys like Me, and JR, C-Leb, and Makaho and a couple other cool peeps like Noise Talka, etc who actually added to the good smack.

Well it's not like that now... Now you got folk who just jump on to a few good "smack" comments and beat it to death. What I'm partcularly disturbed about is the free use of the term "C**n" on the board. I know it was actually kinda catchy when you first introduced the term "C**n" ball, but now it seems that some of these posters are acting like (Forgive me Dr. King) real "c**ns" and just throw out this terminology and making it too generic.

They are sheep and lack any "Discretion" in using the term. They have gone from using it as a comic expression but now use it to describe coaches, teams, fans, whatever. Perhaps you noticed how SJSU dude (Cajun Spartan) felt free to use the term. I give props to PNeck 019 for having the class and good sense not to do the same. But IF/WHEN he does, can we get upset?

Not to make a big issue out of it...It's too late to change things now. Once these "c**n" mentality folk got a hold of it, the horse was out of the barn. I just want you to be careful in the future on how you phrase things. Apparently, you forgot that you have such influence and that a lot of these folk will act like "C**ns" and follow the leader.

Oh one more thing...don't make any sudden stops or you might get a "C**n" nose up the butt!

I meant to correct you on the other thread when you gave
me credit for the term "c**n ball." Actually "c**n ball" is
not one of my brilliant creations. I cant take the credit
for the term. When I first introduced it to the board and
several times afterwards, I gave credit to the person
that actually originated that term. He is a frequent member
of this board, and if he wants to make himself known
he will do so.

I will acknowledge that the term was probably made popular
by me. But...what are you going to do? Things happen and
thats just the way it is. If Spartan dude wants to use the term
what are we going to do? What if he decides to use the N word?
Most of us use that word here too.

I find it disturbing that you NOW have a problem with the term
since it has been flung towards Grambling. Never had a problem
with it before huh? I also find it disturbing that the group that turned smack into what it is today(Cartel) is now crying about a meaningless term. Now you want to get high and mighty and blacker than thou.
Now you want to take the moral high ground? Where were you when the death of James Carson was a joke to the Cartel? Were you upset about that? I didnt think so.....
So dont start that now. I will stand up and unequivically say that Grambling played c**n BALL in San Jose and you made the SWAC and all of IAA look like crap. If you dont like it, take it up with Doug.....It aint my fault. I didnt take 400 lb linemen to Cali...My QB didnt look out of place...my all-world WR didnt decide to take the day off while playing competition.....so if you want to be mad at someone....please send your anger in the right direction.

I do agree that the NSM is very impressionable. Hence, giving the young chaps a demogague word like "c**n" is like giving a child a loaded gun. Having said that, one cannot legislate anti-ignorance laws or most of the cartel and all of the mafia would be incarcerated. This is the reason that The Nation will beat the ignorance out of both of your dizzy schools.

So I was giving GR too much credit? I guess just like I shouldn't have believed him before they went over to Natchitoches? Did you hear about that one. Of all the things said about that game two things stand out the most in my mind: Kent got benched and the set a record for the most number of punts. I don't know but maybe they need to go back to playing C**n Ball.
