You see how long it took Foley to break. He just said "F-it" and quit. Then tried to flip the story and blame it on his Catholic pastor that touched him as a boy. They ended up finding the pastor and he started telling him about "several" situations with Foley and other kids.

When I was in High School, there was a Republican Congressman from Mississippi named John Hinson that did the same thing Craig did, I think the year was 1981. The more things change the more they remain the same.
 
What do you all think will happen to that police officer? His career is probably done for doing his job.

Sen. Craig resigns over sex sting

BOISE, Idaho - In a subdued ending to a week of startling political theater, Sen. Larry Craig announced his resignation Saturday, bowing to pressure from fellow Republicans worried about damage from his arrest and guilty plea in a gay sex sting.

"I apologize for what I have caused," Craig said, his wife Suzanne and two of their three children at his side with a historic Boise train station as backdrop. "I am deeply sorry."

Craig, 62, said he would resign effective Sept. 30, ending a career in Congress spanning a quarter-century.

Making no specific mention of the incident that triggered his disgrace in his remarks, he spoke for under six minutes and took no questions.
 



He might be back.

He's trying to get his legal team to return his plea of guilty.
