Game of Thrones (Season 5)

I wonder if Dany is going to let the other two free now? Where is Grey worm?
I just knew Stannis was going to stop it. The finale should be off the chain!

Remember, Rhaegal & Viserion are fully grown & are getting bigger. I don't think those chains can hold them. Since the show has deviated from the books, I'm guessing they'll manage to get out & join Drogon, who'll be with Daenerys........and they won't be in Mereen.

I started with season 4 yesterday.. Sadly, the way hbogo is set up, I started with the first video. Not paying attention, I was watching the season finale.. LOL I was so freakin confused. I was like "why they skip so far in the story"? Talk about a spoiler. Anyway, I went back to episode one and it started to make sense.

BTW, I don't read this thread. I just blindly post. o_O But I heard last week episode was the truth.. I think "scary" is how it was described it...

Cersei ended up where she belongs.

White Walkers are serious, this is going to be wild.

I really like Lady Olenna - smart woman.

I stayed out of here for a while since I was on vacation - I binged watched over the weekend, now I can come in and catch up.... ;)

Pissed that Stannis did what he did. Upset the Melisandre has that much power over him. Part of me feels like something bads about to happen to Jon Snow. His little friend has that "stab-you-in-the-back-while-I-hug-you-look." Just doesn't feel right especially with all of the newcomers he brought in and the way Castle Black hates him for it.

The White Walkers are something serious. Don't know how the kingdom's will get the resources to kill them unless Dany's dragon's intervene. Speaking of Dany, part of me believes she will go into exile a while to clear her mind. She summoned Drogon with her mind "unknowingly" and I still think there's some untapped potential in their connection--as well as with the other dragons.

That's how they kill Joffrey? That's it? He deserved WAY worse than that. Poison? Really? This is the biggest let down of the series. That lil beyotch needed to be kidnapped and tortured... smh. Oh well. Moving on the episode 3.

LOL at TP being that far behind. You'll get there soon, bro.

Since HBO has really deviated from the books, I feel safe posting this:

Regarding Stannis-

In the books (I think it may have been Book 2), Stannis sent Shireen (along with her slightly retarded childhood friend Patches) and Selyse to East Watch to keep them safe while he marched on to Castle Black. She wasn't in Books 3 & 4, and I haven't gotten far on Book 5. So it was a real shocker when Stannis had her burned (on the series), but I love how HBO made it be her mother, who in the end, who did not want her only living child burned. I had a feeling Selyse wasn't down for that.

Reagarding Drogon, Rhaegal, Viserion-

By now we all know that Drogon is the biggest out of his brothers and his size, behavior & color resembles his namesake. As Khal Drogon loved Daenerys & was fiercely protective of her, Drogon is the same. Even though the show portrayed a brief concept that Rhaegal & Viserion may have turned on Daenerys, that is not the case in the books. Remember, Daenerys had those dragons as eggs & she was the first face they saw when they hatched, so she's imprinted on them forever; they know her as their mother, and will protect her as Drogon will.

Also in the books, Rhaegal & Viserion escape from their chains. Both are so huge and their fire so fierce that they had started to melt their chains, and Viserion had made a "nest" in the ceiling of that pit, but because he was so big, the ceiling started to cave. So many people thought Daenerys had lost control of her dragons, and at one point, one of the Martells tried to tame & steal them. But they only submit to Daenerys....AND THEY'RE DRAGONS!!! They can't be tamed! So they burned him to a crisp & escaped. And like every dragon, they made their own lairs. Rhaegal made his lair at one pyramid, Viserion at another. Right now, in the books, both are still in Mereen.

SPOILER ALERT!!!!

The prophecy the witch told Cersei only touched on a few things. In the book, the prophecy said that she (Cersei) would outlive her children. In the books, Myrcella was in a very bad accident that left her face badly disfigured, but it wasn't clear whether or not she died. On the show, however, as we saw, Myrcella was killed. Notice Joffrey (the oldest) was killed first, then Myrcella. HBO has changed stuff so much, but if they keep to the books, Tomnen is next.
