Football facing attendance crisis

Yup. Hello Roku and Playon and screw you cable. I haven't had a cable bill in over a year. Feels damn good too.

For 4 years now I just have 480p basic analog cable, only because my cable company requires it to have broadband internet. The only live TV I watch is Sports. I don’t even watch the evening news anymore, because most of the stories I’ve already seen on the internet at work.

I'm seriously thinking about getting Roku. I watch very little television and I think I could get by with Roku just fine.

What's the advantage of Playon over HuluPlus, Netflix or AmazonPrime?

You do realize that you can download movies for free on the internet, which eliminates the need for pay movie apps. Make sure you have an external hard drive at least 2 Terabytes or larger. Movie files can eat up some memory. One movie file can be at least 10 to 15 Gigabytes. People typically upload movies right around the same time they hit the stores.

Also, you can buy a 2 terabyte hard drive for approximately $150.
