But just to pacify you:

Its easy to lead in total defense if you play, SC State, Norfolk State, Morgan, BCC, NC Central, Elon, and Hampton. Those teams are not offensive terrors. So your defense will look good statistically.

I keep trying to tell you people that stats are over-rated for the most part. For example, if you look at "your list," Elon is ranked far below AT&T, but they held you scoreless. Was their defense better or worser than yours last year?....hmmmm

Del State raped you last year.....and they dont even have Robert Kent....What do you think is going to happen when you face Kent, Manning, Story, Taylor, Jones, Goss, McLaurin, and so on and so on.

As far as the RB goes.....A good RB has never beaten JSU...ever. You have to pass the ball and pass it well.

If JSU football makes a similar performance to last and not win games they were "supposed to win", will you all proclaim THIS season to be a "down year"?

And how long into the season must you be to still be ABLE to consider the season a "down year".

I'm just asking because last year, the Mafia was proclaiming to be the best most of the season, but AFTER it was over "a down year" became the anthem.

THE DAWGPOUND will be hosting the jsue mafia to pregame and post game hospitality. MD and I were thinking about breaking out the fine china and the real crystal goblets! We are still in the planning stages. Will keep everybody informed.

Uhh...I hate to point his out to you, ol' great one, but SC State. Hampton, (and also FAMU and Del state) all ranked higher in total offense than JSU .

Didn't UAPB have the 12th best rushing offense in the nation last year?(click here) Didn't UAPB score 48 points against your pathetic defense? Didn't Dewight Mckissic rush for over 139 yards and a touchdown against that garabage defensive line of yours?

Seems to me like you've been spending a little too much time hanging around your lowly peasants(JST) and court jesters(Tiger Pride). I think they're beginning to rub off on you. :(
