His son pitches for the defending national champions, and I'm sure there are car dealerships all over South Carolina that will hire this guy wanting to get in on the good publicity this story has created.

It was no different than a car salesman in the Chicago area who was fired last winter for refusing to take off his Green Bay Packers tie while a work. That cat told his sob story on the news, and a two days later had a ton of job offers. LOL.

That father will be alright.

Hell I gave up $350 to work Conf. USA Outdoor T&F Championship to go to the Texas State Track & Field Meet in May to see my boy compete and (he is not a senior), Lord knows I needed it!

I have done it and will be doing it again when my other 2 kids get in High school and college. It is funny how some of you think that job is the end all to life. Maybe those of you that think he is crazy don't have kids. I have kids that get dropped off to me daily at 6:30 and a parent or somebody may not show up to pick up until 8:30. Those same families don't even show up to watch the games anymore because they are not as interested. I had a parent to take her 2 kids from a tournament because she was going to a concert. She also took a third child with her that she was brought to the tournament by her. Needless to say I was then short players.
