Every Man A Tiger (Eddie Robinson Story)

I just finished watching a tape of "Every Man A Tiger". It was an excellent tribute by NBC to coach "Rob" before yesterday's broadcast of the Bayou Classic and should be a "must see" history lesson to every kid. The one part I didn't like was they didn't give credit to the legendary Collie J. Nichalson for the roll he played.

Also... I noticed in both this years (Southern) and last years (Grambling) Bayou Classic, players got a 15 yard penalty for celebration. I know they do it to get on TV and a lot of you probably will say just let the kids have fun.

My question is how do you think kind of conduct comes across on National TV? It didn't hurt Southern this year, but it did hurt Grambling last year.

Dude.................how many times have celebration/unsportsmanlike penalties been called in football? That doesn't come across any different than it does when other teams do it. It happens all the time at every level.

... which is good and fine until it causes you to lose a game. It's called a penalty because it's purpose is to punish you for doing something wrong. Pros don't always set the best examples ... as you well know. I'm probably in the minority, but I think it just shows a lack of discipline at all levels... and if you hurt the team, then that's your azz.
