Ever had unwanted house guests?

That's how she ended up with me in the 1st place. She was about to move in with him (which I knew was a mistake but I kept my mouth shut). 2 days before she was supposed to move he told her that they shouldn't live together. So she moved in with me and then proceeded to do his grocery shopping and cooking (out of her money) and his laundry. I wouldn't have minded once or twice but shoot they had way more laundry than me.

Talk about making an arse out of somebody! This man had it made: free groceries, meals AND clean laundry!?!?! I ain't mad his game, but your girl was/is a fool!

Nope. I ain't sayin'. Bilbrew done touched upon something that I tried my best to forget from way back when.

I hate when family members are F'Ning weak and simple minded! :slap: Damn!

At the beginning of this summer one of my college buddies who has returned back to school asked me if he could crash with me for the summer here in Houston. I told him he could, I went on to tell him that they only thing I would hold him responsible for is the electricity bill and long distance charges.

After, the 1st week it turned into HELL

That MOFO would not clean up behind himself !

He hogged the phone 24 hours per day! (LONG DISTANCE) $316.00 worth

He had his FRAT brotherS over all time of day and night ! (Loud as heck)

He failed a drug test to get a job and refused to go out and look for another job. He said " I only want a job that pays between $15-$20 an hour"

and totally took over my apartment. After, a month in a half his arse had to go !

An unwanted house guest does not exist in my world....:o

I personally can't hide my feelings. They show on my face, and that is not a good thing...trust me on this. ;)

The next step is cussing and some furniture moving.....

There was one time when I allowed my brother to stay for one month. After that time was up he was like...looks like imma have to stay longer...i was like looks like you need to go stay with momma. He got his shat together and found an apartment that week! I dont play with the house guest stuff!

honey, I've never liked company and I don't like staying w/other folks either. I guess my Mama raised me that way. She didn't allow me to spend the night w/folks, when I was growing up, and she didn't allow anyone to spend the night w/me.

Point me to the nearest nice hotel.....that is, unless it's my Momma's house. ;)

Baby Boy, you're good. He would've been gone DAY 2! How in the hel/ do you use someone's long distance to the sum total of $316? I would've kicked his arse the day that bill came out - no joke.

Bilbrew:
Pardon me for putting my personal business out there (again), but maybe this example can help someone else out in the future:

During what I can now recognize as the decline of my marriage, my ex-mother-in-law decided that she would send my ex-brother-in-law to our house for "a few days" because he was "having some problems". In a show of outright disrespect, my ex-mother-in-law and ex-wife agreed to this while I was sleeping. I was awaken with the news that my ex-brother-in-law was going to be at the train station that night.

After a couple of days out of the "few days", my ex-wife came to me and said that her mother was going to send some money so that the ex-brother-in-law could buy a vehicle so that he could get a job. I flipped and asked when did it go from "a few days" to this grown man living here rent-free without ANYONE asking the supposed man of the house (me) about it. That of course led to a lot of tension. I am sure that my ex-brother-in-law could sense it, but at that point I really didn't care.

A couple of days later, after a rough day at work and a long commute home, I walked in to door to once again find my ex-brother-in-law laying in the living room in front of the television. After stepping over him and looking into the kitchen, I noticed that the trashcan was full and the dishes were piled up. That was the final straw. In true Lance Bilbrew fashion, I stepped back over my ex-brother-in-law, walked outside, called my ex-wife on my cell and said (exact quote, excuse the language), "You mean to tell me that this grown azz muthafugga can lay in the house all the day and not even take the trash out?!". Her response was, "Well, he would take the trash out if you asked him to". My attitude was that I should have had to ask him since he was in the house all day with nowhere to go and nothing better to do, especially since he was eating our food and using our utilities without pitching in a dime. After she and her brother talked, he started doing chores around the house (mowing the lawn, cleaning up, etc.). The way that he saw it, he felt like he was doing the stuff that I was supposed to be doing and that I was getting off scott-free. The way that I saw it, he needed to be doing SOMETHING since he was laying up in the house all day while his sister and I were at work, aside from the fact that I never actually agreed for him to be there in the first place. He was on another train back to his mother's house that weekend.

The next time that I saw him he didn't have much to say to me, but I honestly did not care.

You simply let it go too far...No way is anyone coming to where I live without my consent. Family or No family. NOT HAPPENING. NIP IT! Nor will I impose on anyone.

One MOFO called himself goin stay with me for a while. He had a job lined up but just needed to wait for 2 months while they were finalizing his clearance. When he asked to stay with me, I quickly responded that I have a condo for rent.

For some odd reason I haven't heard from him.:jump:

Lawd have mercy . . .that my problem with ANY body who stays at my house for free. A couple of days I can bear it, but if you are there past that point, you better start helping around the house.

My personal issue is the lack of respect that I perceive by not doing it. If yo mama hasn't taught you that you don't lay up at other people house and not help or even offer to help, then you better ask somebody! Dayammit
