They let him walk despite a mega popular radio and TV show while catering to Greeny, Stephen A. and the Malika Andrews types. They're catering to a dying crowd and their programs show it

They'e about 4-5 years behind in the podcast game and having to throw more big money at the McAfee's and Shannon's of the world just to catch up

We need to check on and protect Tiff and Jay from the bloodshed lol (they are safe though as that Jay really is only a part time employee and Tiff can do multple sports outside of football (basketball, softball etc.)

Doubt it unless they cut hbcu football but they've done other broadcasts - the high paid studio folks are the space eaters - as long as there are games their good

Youngsters better learn play by play to stay in this business instead of thinking folks cAre about their opinions - ex jock will always take that role
 
When you’re a network that’s paying millions of dollars for rights to pro and college sports AND folks are cutting the cord by the droves (which means less ad revenue) it really isn’t realistic to keep all the talent.

But, it’s the way of media right now. Newspapers are being gutted. News websites are being gutted or are shuttered (we can thank hedge funds for that). Local TV stations are laying off folks, too. Cable networks are cutting employees as well. It’s just the state of things right now in the media industry.

And for those independent platforms... Man! We're seeing our revenue cut big, regardless of the vertical you're in and the subject you're covering.

It's tough out here as all of that Covid money flows out of the market.

Sage Steele, the veteran ESPN sportscaster who became better known in recent years for her stances on hot topics like coronavirus vaccinations, has left the Disney sports giant.

Steele, who joined ESPN in 2007, said on social media that she had recently settled a lawsuit with her employer after she was suspended in 2021 for comments she made on an outside podcast about getting vaccinated, how women dress and former President Barack Obama’s lineage.

“Shole” wish Malika Andrews would leave ESPN for Fox News. If I ever have this strange feeling to see her or hear some messy B.S. then I’ll know where to find her. 😆 😆 Just not while I am viewing sports. You get a trash can top, add ESPN logo and then put a nice juicy steak 🥩 on it…..That is the Andrews experience at ESPN. BTW, get your hands out of her arm pits😆😆😆
