Eddie Murphy is still one of the top earner's in the business.
He has not taken in less than $35 million over the last 6 year's.

That and the GAY lifestyle is around every corner in the entertainment industry.
Most don't care.

Behind the Eddie Murphy split
Eddie Murphy and Tracey Edmonds exchanged vows on New Year?s Day in Bora Bora, and the plan had been to make the symbolic union official in the coming days. Those plans have clearly been scrapped, but why?

Murphy and Edmonds told People, ?While the recent symbolic union in Bora Bora was representative of our deep love, friendship and respect that we have for one another on a spiritual level, we have decided to remain friends.?

A source close to the couple, however, said that any sort of friendship between the two can be ruled out.

The source said a nasty argument having to do with Edmonds? two sons who don?t get along with Murphy was the final straw. ?Tracey?s kids hate Eddie,? said the source. ?They had an argument that ended in Edmonds calling Eddie?s mom a b----.?

Since the union wasn?t legal, there likely won?t be too much drama involved when it comes to untangling their relationship. Murphy and Edmonds began dating in the fall of 2006, and became engaged last July.
 
True dat...but still...that is his mom.

I don't even think New York's "mother" is a woman. He looks more like a drag queen in makeup. And that man/woman/whatever is just playing up for the cameras.

WHY would a woman whose kids hate her potential husband even consider marrying him. Gotdayum. We've been saying she's so damn smart and that is a classic dumbazz move if there ever was one. If the kids and he don't get along, ain't shat gonna get along. And calling somebody's momma a bytch. :smh: They both need therapy. That's cemetary shat for sho.

A sign of selfishness. If things go south between the wife and I, the kid would never consider getting married to a woman that did not gel with my boys.
 
I think it depends on why they don't get along. You can't let your kids just run away every significant other or potential spouse just because they don't like them. That's giving the kids way too much power and too much control over their parent's personal life.

In an account rivaling his twin turn in ?The Nutty Professor,? Eddie Murphy allegedly revealed a hidden personality ugly enough to drive away would-be bride Tracey Edmonds. Insiders told the New York Post?s Page Six that shortly before legalizing their recent Bora Bora wedding, Eddie changed from charmer to a bossy bully who wanted his mother on their honeymoon.

?That was kind of the last straw,? Tracey?s friend told Page Six. "]?She was happy to sign a prenup ? she has her own money. She was very accommodating. But then it was like Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. Eddie became very controlling and they got into a huge fight. He started screaming at her and grabbed her. She was scared.?

Representatives for both the former bride and groom refused to comment, reports Page Six. However, last week Eddie announced, ?After much consideration and discussion, we have jointly decided that we will forgo having a legal ceremony as it is not necessary to define our relationship further ... we have decided to remain friends.? Stop assuming. You don't know what Babyface was like when they were married and behind closed doors.

Those main ones who appear "quiet, meek and laid back" are the main ones who are difficult to live with, can be an arse and demanding---- kinda like what's been reported about his behavior after the wedding.

And as far as Eddie, it's been said that Eddie in person can be the opposite of the characters he plays and say he's rather quiet-natured and more reserved. In a TV interview, I remember Eddie mentioning that himself that his "stage/screen" personality is different from the "real him" and couldn't understand why when people saw him out in public that they thought he should've been smiling and cracking jokes at all times.

What is it exactly did Tracey do, that has you men so pissed off? Had this been the other way around, you self-righteous bastards wouldn't have anything to say. :smh: I'm so sure when Babyface decides to remarry it'll be like crickets up in here.

She has a right to move on w/her life, after her divorce just as any other person does. She and Babyface still have the best relationship and are the best of friends, according to them...so, if they're happy why can't you all be? y'all act as if you know these people personally.

I'm not taking up for her. I don't care what either of them do. But you're here trying to take up for Babyface and don't even know him on a personal level or how he is with his women.

Nobody on this board knows either of them or what they've each dealt with in their marriages and relationships. And don't act like Eddie is some kind of victim. He got with Scary Spice and then tried to act like their child wasn't his. :tdown:

I will say this: At this point in Tracy's life she really doesn't have to "marry for money and status" because she's clearly got that already. It is possible that she was marrying for love this time, and it just didn't work out.
Stop trying to look at every woman as a gold-digger. 'Cause truth is both sexes give and certainly take in relationships and marriages and go after the things that they desire--- be it money, looks, status or even real love.

Tracey screwed up and it bite her. She knew Eddie was a punk to start with. She hurt Baby face and the dirty got her. That?s my story and I?m sticking to it.
