Dynamo stadium contract?

We don't want to use that stadium for the LDC. Why do you think it is at another venue this year?

Brings a tear to my eye. :D :bawling: :bawling: :bawling: :bowdown: :clap: :tup:

They're not understanding how this is working. lol Would rather give the rental $$$$ to a neutral white origin rather than let them promote us. Where's our commish cup 2011-2012? :clap: :bowdown: :tup:

Thats OUR stadium. At least that's what CharlesMcClelland said. Its sad how these people are being used and abused.

88...do you think it would be a good idea fir TxSU and PV to join in on a stadium project?

Oh no sir. Nothing w/ those people. :tup: The only "joint" thing I see PV-sTu peeps doing together are those stupid happy hours :retard: down there. And I really don't understand why some PV folk are so hellbent upon being in those people's midst, ever. :confused:

:emlaugh: I'm sorry to get off topic but PV with all that land surrounding you...where the hell is your stadium...have you even broken ground since you showed pictures of your dream 2 or 3 years ago...or will you continue to have your home games in Dallas and Shreveport...I'm Just Asking!:slap:

Man leave these no lives having, got nothing better to do with their time, gossiping, old biddie acting colored people to masturbate in their own feces. I have never in my 58 (almost 59) years seen such womanish behavior from those who profess to be men.

That's funny, I keep reading in that same section:

Except – excluding, but, with the exception of, aside from…

expressly – specifically, particularly, clearly, definitely…

provided - if, on condition that, only if, so long as…

otherwise - then, else

Agreement – contract, arrangement, covenant, treaty, promise, pact

Also,to be fair, this is not the final official signed copy. This looks to be the copy that was sent to the TSU Board for review. They may have made adjustments later.

Fiyah, find the signed copy.

Typical....but since TEXAS A&M is making your decisions it makes perfect sense.

You don't mean to tell me that the white man is the reason PV don't have their stadium yet...all that land donated by a colored family(The Kirbys) and the white man would let you build I say you have more problems than to be concern with what Texas Southern can or cannot do with their stadium...now get yo tail over to reliant and give them a down payment to use the place September 1...haters!

I'm sorry... but what does PV's stadium proposal have to do w/ the title of this thread?

"Dynamo Stadium contract?" vs "PV's Purported stadium" I know not understand yeh. (houstonese :lol: lol)

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh, you mean the A&M System Board that makes decisions? You're indeed correct. But the school texas a&m @ b/cs does NOT make decisions regarding PVAMU. Only the state constitution of 1871 and OUR A&M Board. We seem to thrive in it, somehow. And we have a mind-boggling 11%-13% graduation rate that backs that up, now don't we PV?

:retard: Y'all are so..... houston to me. lol

11% Graduation rate. Are you serious? I thought that was a myth. I know SUNO had 8% last year, didn't know about texas su.

Tomcat, as has been stated on numerous times and P88 knows, as well, that up until recently Texas Southern had an open admissions policy in an attempt to give everyone an opportunity at a college education. Unfortunately, there are consequences to policies that liberal. The most obvious is a very low graduation rate. The policy was changed in 2008 so the results of that change will manifest soon.

Not sure how that's working LAW. Factually, I have 2nd level cousins who weren't even marginally decent students academically-bottom 50% of their remedial grad'ing classes & they were accepted by sTu. I'm not sure of their status current but I was aware last fall one of the 3 hooligans was arrested for having a weapon illegally(near campus). I'd hope sTu is seducing a better caliber of student unlike my younger relatives.

Law you are not understanding. He is bragging about PV 11% four year graduation rate. Ours is only 4%. PV traditionally maintained a selective admission policy, while TSU designation as a special purpose University allowed for an open enrollment policy.

So do not even waste your time.

Fiyah, you know the real reason this years labor day classic is not being played in Dynamo stadium. Check the original signature on the reliant stadium reservation for this year.

Forgot to mention that TSU has a large population of non traditional students. This affects the 4 year graduation rate.

I know this really off topic.

Well P88 all I can say then is we shall see, and yes we have to attract a better caliber of student than the ones you described. Just so others will know the entering fall 2008 class had the following profile:

* First time enrollment of 1,347

* Average GPA of 2.71

* Average ACT/SAT of 16 and 783

* SAT score greater than 920 - 8%

* GPA greater than 3.0 - 28%

* GPA greater than 3.5 - 6%

This thread is sad on so many levels :(

I have said this before, and I will say it again - the way graduation rates are calculated they do not include transfer students nor part-time students, which makes up a large portion of TSU's population. In addition, as mentioned by my fellow alum until 2008 we had an open enrollment process, which impacted those figures as well. Until the unique mission of most HBCU's are taken into account, and/or we close admissions, our administration beefs customer service areas, and modern student support services are in place, ALL OF US will continue to have 30% or lower graduation rates (refering mainly to SWAC schools). I can honestly say TSU is headed in the right direction in those areas.

But hey if you PV grads, particulary P88, want to brag about your 11% graduation rate because it makes you feel better about yourselves (even though PV has been closed admissions for years and have a fairly traditional student population), be my guess. I swear some of yall old HBCU grads have inferiority complexes and don't even realize it :mad: But you wonder why younger alums don't want to get involved and give back, or our best and brightest choose to go elsewhere. If you read some of the comments made on this board, it is not hard to understand why.

P88 your cousins were probably accepted into the summer bridge program, which allows students who were not accepted to attended classes at TSU in the summer to gain conditional acceptance.

That kinda makes his point about TSU having had open admissions.

Also, don't act like no one has ever been caught with a gun on PV, aTm, UH, Ohio State, etc's campuses.

lol PV doesn't have an 11% grad rate. I think it's somewhere in the neighborhood of 37% or so, last accounting w/in the last few rew recent years. Not to begrudge sTu's bridge program, I guess, but if a remedial type student hasn't shown his/her academic capability as a high performer over the last 12-14 yrs of education, I don't understand the logic of casting a large net in hopes of saving one, only one of the numerous. It's your school & my tax $$$$$$. So I have reservations about the "bridge." (based in large part of my own relatives admittance & subsequent quick departures due to subpar performance academically) One in particular was turned down by Lone Star CC- The Woodlands but admitted to sTu where she then proceeded to drop oit due to the club, I mean, that 1.2gpa she sported smgdh.

But alas, I detect the nee-grow normalcy has reared its historically ugly head yet again so I'll leave you people alone.

Man wtffffffffffff r u talking about? Geeeeeeez I hadn't realized sTu opened a campus in Baton Rouge.
:smh:
This is a civil shindig. We didn't invite france into the foray yet lol
