Everyone send up a prayer for Dr. Jimmie James.

For those who don't know-- he's the Department Chair of Music at Jackson State.
We're getting word that he's not doing too well after suffering from an aneursym last month.

A JSU alumnus, Dr. James is also known as being the Voice of the Sonic BOOM of the South and has been employed with JSU for probably getting close to 40 years.

I think the mane needs to retire. His delivery was a bit slow the last time I heard him.

How so??????? His delivery was always somewhat slightly delayed about 3-5 seconds. Even I was with him in the booth several times when he announced the lines for the dance routine.

WHENEVER he decides to step down. i will miss his classic announcing .......

Ladies and Gentleman..fine tune your sensory aparatus for the Upmost, The Miraculus, The Mertful, The mind boggling...etc etc
