Oxtails: Yes on occasion. My diet is changing and that is probably one thing that will not return.
I have had pickled pig lips and boiled pig feet. I have not had that since I was around 10 years old. Since I will never cook it; I'll probably never have that again.
For the rest of that stuff.....NAW I NEVER HAVE AND NEVER WILL.
CORRECTION: I do eat liver. However, I don't know that I will eat very much of it since I've got new plans for my diet.

in Creole country....Eunice, La....we didnt eat pig ears, tongues, lips, snouts....or any of that pickled shat.........

I eat all of the above EXCEPT liver/gizzards. I would only eat liver again if I had some problem with anemia.

Haven't had oxtails in awhile, my mother use to cook them when we were young. Haven't had a pig lip or foot recently either.

It's not that bad if it's prepared correctly. Even white folx in this area eat them. Had them to stop by mom's crib and other relatives cribs while younger, have a sit down, and enjoy the feast. It's like they call people whenever a cow/pig would get castarated. Ditto for bbq'ing c**n/possum or cooking one of those things. That's one thing they've collaborated on over the years ironically.
And before, anyone asks about castarating a horse, no, we don't eat those testi. lol That's nast-eee. :vomit: lol

My mom cooked alll of the above when I ws growing up and I would go to bed many a nights hungry because I just couldn't swallo the shiz. The taste was ok BUT the look, texture and thought of it made me sick as hell.

I don't know why y'all acting all brand new and "urban" up in here. lol Don't deny your heritage. Embrace it.
wadn't no c**n or possum up there. Hell yeah, I eat c**n, possum, squirrel, deer, wild boars, rabbit and turkeys. BUT ain't nobody nowhere gonna evah be able to say they saw CT eating no pigs feet, ears or snoots, hog maws, mountain oysters, brains, tongues, chitlins or trip. :nod:
