Did You Vote

I voted. Voting is such an emotional event for me. I get teary-eyed just thinking of what our people went through for me to have that opportunity. Am I the only one that this happens to when it comes to certain things that were not willingly given to us?

I did, but I don't think it really matters. Something really drastic will have to happen for the next Presidential or Congressional elections to matter.

I voted for the first time and the "Bush Buddies" still won.
:bawling: :bawling: :bawling: :bawling: :bawling: :bawling:

I voted and this still happend....... :shame:

Governor:
Democrats 19 (+3)/ Republicans 26 (-1)

Senate:
Democrats 46 (-2)/ Republicans 51(-2)
(W/2 races undecided)

House:
Democrats 204/ Republicans 226

Which means:
1. We WILL go to war (So Baby Bush can get his revenge on)
Possible Upside: It may bring us out of the economic slump
Bush set into motion by becoming President.
:eek2:

2. Texas (My State) will go further into the economic ditch. :smh::smh::smh:

&

3. In a few years the real Foreign Policy Kings & Queens and Masters
of the Economy will have to come back and clean up all the messes
these hicks make.
Until then it's going to be a rough road. Period.

I actually worked the polls here in ATL. It was cool with the new touch screen poll booths, but of course there were people who had to find a way to screw something up. :(

Yes, I voted and I really feeling ya on this...

Sometimes I wonder if it does any good. I'm not disrespecting the folks that died so I can vote. But it just feels as if the individual voters don't matter anymore. I'm still shaking my head at the outrage in Florida last election, now problems in Florida, Georgia and Alabama. Dirty tricks, dirty laundry, and dirty money. Good people being dragged through the mud, and muddy people being cleaned up and put in Office.

Just venting. :redhot: Thanks for listening.
