Did the U.S. Attack Kabul, Afganistan?

It's hard for me to believe the U.S. responded that quickly to todays events. It sure seems like it though. If the U.S. is responsible for attacking Kabul this quick,,,,,,, i'd say we have definitely thrown away the rule book and gone the Israeli/old soviet union route.

Man,,, I would love to be a flie on the wall in ole Saddam's surroundings today. I bet him and his crew was hi-fiving and popping champaign.

That's the country whom Afganistan is "at war" with right? They just tried to assassinate their leaders?

if so,,, impecable timing by the NA. what a bunch of opportunistic people. just don't see the U.S. striking that quick unless we was about to thwart the act and was too late and was given the go ahead to strike to disrupt further actions.
 
Its a civil war. To make a long story short, the Taliban now controls 95% of the country and are still fighting for the rest of the country.
