Well, excuse me for being logical, AD. I guess I was just brought up that way. You should try it sometimes. I know this is the Smack board and "creativity" is encouraged, but why you wanna worry about what our team didn't do when your team did much less? I know that AAMU probably performed to the level that you expected, but you still need to have some pride about your program and that coach yall been raving about.
But anyway, focus on TSU and not the measley 7 points (which I don't even acknowledge) that we scored last week.
And for the record, I have never referred to any coach as a 'c**n coach' (except Hughes). I simply use the word-- for lack of a better word-- to describe the mentality of some SWAC fans and TSPN posters who can't accept the idea of having a balanced attack as opposed to.........'c**n ball'.

what is it with you people that yall can't understand common sense? j-state tiger 06, you took da words right outta my mouth! pls help Average & Mediocre to understand that the competition he lost to and we lost to were in 2 entirely different categories! everything from fundamentals to talent was on a different level. and to even add to his "c**n-thinking" he wanted to talk about scoring??? :xeye: what is it with you people from bama? are yall that jealous of j-state that every thread on the smack board has to eventually be directed to j-state and the hiring of bell? when we kick arse this year and win the swac (like i know we will) i'll be sure to bring up every thread you test tube babies created on this board and make all yall look like the average & mediocre fools yall are!!

Isn't that a coach's job? That is his team, whether some fans like it or not, and he shouldn't have to cater to what these fans say nor is he entitled to give a dayum what they say.
Fans (some of) who have never played a down of football.
Fans who have never coached FB a day in their life.
Why would you want a coach who is going to be influenced by such people? But maybe that's how things fly at Average & Mediocre U, but at JSU we prefer a coach with a backbone and belief in his system.

JST06, you have to understand. Annie Mae is use to having fans to control their athletic sports. I mean from the old guys and ladies that dress in the windsuits and leave sychronized at the beginning of the 3rd quarter to the old guys that sits behind the bench in basketball. I think that is why Cooper left. He finally got tired of hearing the windsuit people tell him what play to run.
