JSU/99 said:Gore is the best amongst those 3. But the best candidate overall is Governor Mark Warner of Virginia. Senator Evan Bayh and Gore would be second on the list.
AAMU Alum said:For whomever is elected in '08, he/she will spend their entire term cleaning up the universe of isht that these past two Bush terms has this nation in....and even those four years likely won't be enough!
:smh:
Makaho 2.0 said:Man, I am so glad I left the Demoncratic party a few years ago.
What the Democratic party constantly fails to realize is that there have only been two Democratic presidents in the last 35 years...Jimmy Carter, and Bill Clinton. Until they adopt promoting a democrat from the south, they will get their azzes kicked yet again.
Makaho 2.0 said:None of the three peeps that were mentioned would stand a chance against any reputable republican candidate.

Makaho 2.0 said:JSU/99, the democratic party is so lost now, I don't know if they can get any help in the future election cycle.
I will never sit here and tell you that Bush is a rocket science, but he still kicked John Kerry's azz. Why? Because the democrats have no solutions, no vision, no substance, other than to armchair quarterback and playa hate and point fingers.
And I can narrow it down to region.....in almost 35 years no one has elected a democratic president north of the mason dixon line, be they a senator, governor or whatever.
By virture of you being on the other side of the fence no candidate the republicans field/elect will be a viable candidate in your opinion. But one thing you can't discount is my commentary about Clinton and Carter being from the south....they were both Centrist/Moderate.
Keep believing all the rigamarole the dems are selling right now....we at the GOP are praying the Kool-Aid is still being sipped!
:hat:
JSU/99 said:The fact that a Liberal Senator from Massachusetts without a real plan came within striking distance of a wartime President should let you know that the Repubs are in big trouble this next election cycle. The only reason Bush won this time was because they were able to rally the conservatives with an unusually large number social-issue based ballot measures.
The bottom line is this: If the Dems go with Hillary, it'll be a tough, hard fought election. If the nominee is Mark Warner or Evan Bayh, it'll be a Democratic landslide. Not even you can argue with their(Bayh and Warner's) "moderate" credentials.
Makaho 2.0 said:Man, you guys just don't want to recognize how you got your azzes kicked at the polls.
Dr. Sweet NUPE said:Makaho...I was Republican...but not as you see it. Bush's administration pushed me to becoming an Independent. I will never be a Democrat or Republican again because both of their agendas in some way run parallel to my current life.
JSU/99 said:This was an election, not a football game. And as far as elections go, the Kerry-Bush election was very close. You're the first person (Democrat or Republican) I've heard say otherwise.

As much as BUSH had going against him and he STILL WON................YES 99...........THIS WAS A MAJOR ARSEWHIPPIN' and AN EMBARRASMENT FOR THE DEMO PARTY.:nod2:
It don't matter if it was by only 2 votes. :nod2:
That's politic's.................learn the game. :nod2:
Close ain't shat in this arena.:swink:
:wavey:..............ROLLIN' BACK OUT...........:teleport:

Unfortunately, too many repubs in this country looked at this past election (and the SE-lection before that,) as a football game...not giving a hoot in hell how this nation faired afterward, but more about "lets win at ANY cost." That same mindset (that and the "cowboy" attitude,) led to the invasion of Iraq.
staggalee83 said:Oh gawd........:what: ........and when your plan fails, TWICE, make excuses instead of changes. :lmao:
OK dude........................Ya'll get back to the topic...............Hill, Gore, whoever. :wavey:

Bush and his minions DUPED this nation, and the nation is suffering for it as I type! This is worst administration since Hoover. Hilary was wrong about one thing...she said this administration will go down as ONE of the worst in history. I'd like to correct her there, and say that it will likely go down as THE ABSOLUTE worst in this nation's history! A record deficit, an un-winnable (as well as unwarranted) war, corporations falling into bankruptcy by the minute, lies, hyporcrisy and corruption....yeah that's really something to be proud of.![]()
I'm amazed at folks who continue to be fooled by this fool and his cronies!! I guess when you've been "blinded by the right," you can't see anything clearly!
