Deion Sanders adding former Minnesota Gophers coach Tim Brewster to Jackson State football staff

Another thing to note about Tim Brewster is he seems to be only loyal to himself.

Other than five years at Florida State and four years as head coach of Minnesota, his career basically consists of one- or two-year stints at various places. Although he has been proven to provide a significant uptick in recruiting at those various places.

That's not a criticism. Just saying it might be wise to realize he will probably only be around for a year or two.

Which would be interesting timing ....
I think this is a reflection of a majority of coaching.

UH OH! JSU is going to win the SWAC and Celebration bowl every year now. We's scared!

Sarcasm! But congrats on the hire. The SWAC will become even more competitive with the hires that each of our teams are getting along with recruits.

Broadway had an OC from the Buffalo Bills on staff and Hue Jackson was a head coach in the NFL - TSU's Lionel Taylor was an OC in the NFL - lol - no big time hire lol

We have a former NFL head coach and DC on staff in Dennis Thurman. You literally have no point lol. Tim is a good addition for recruiting on any staff. Maybe if he was on yours y'all would win more than 2 FCS games in 2 years 😆

Haywood took over a football program that hadn't had any success since they cheated and got stripped of a title over a decade ago. Tim's resume far exceeds Mike's. Not to mention he's joining one of the hottest football programs in the country under coach Prime. Again you still don't have a point lol.
