A losing season is now justifiyable by % points....LOL...

Yall continue with this thread. And why are we posting pictures of coaches. Worried about how a coach looks and not his performance. Livonia loves to put a lot of grease in his hair and is a midget but you don't see us posting pictures of him....Not just yet. Wait till he goes 2-9...

Damn, look at what I created .... LOL.

Fact remains .... our "retired" coach is gone after winning for multiple years and basically running through the SWAC for at least three or four years.

Someone has been to two championships, won one, and had his worst season last year and no one has touched him. Hell, he dropped his friend on the sword to save himself.

It's okay though .... Stump is gonna take care of that problem for you THIS year.

I can go all day about his performance on the field. It just doesn't add up to his performance at the table. Legendary.

What you got against Jacoby bruh? Yall treated this man so bad that they wrote a book about and put SU's team picture on the front cover :smh: A fan jumped a fence after a game and ran up on him, only to be restrained by his teammates.


After Southern's second loss, an angry fan threatened Mr. Jacoby. A coach had to jump between them. For the rest of his career, Mr. Jacoby would have a police escort at games. There was a disturbance outside the stadium at another game. Gunshots were fired. Mr. Jacoby recalls thinking the shots were aimed at him.

After the game, Coach Orlando received an anonymous call: "If Jacoby ever plays for Southern again, we'll kill him -- and you." The coach said he averaged a threat a week that season. Later, as Coach Orlando and Mr. Jacoby headed to their cars, the coach pointed to several trees. In the light of the street lamps, Mr. Jacoby could see a yellow rope hung from each tree. The ropes were tied in nooses.

i dont believe 98% of the shyt he's saying due to there being another white kid on the time at the sametime...sounds like dude was weak minded person more than anything elese! at any rate lets interview the other white player...the minor parts they mentioned he was having fun cracking jokes with teammates while this dude claimed he was scared to say he liked country music! man gtfoh!

You know doggone well the QB is the most criticized player on the team. So, it ain't hard to believe Jacoby got it worse than another white dude on the team, who was probably a punter/kicker or straight bench warmer.

ok so..yea the qb is the most criticized player.. but here's what gets me... This claim of noose being on trees...seriously? i just googled, binged, even searched SU..digest archive..and not a single mention of this noose event he claimed. If a noose...a freaking noose was found on SU campus..dont you think it would have gotten picked up by the media and not just in this dude walk down memory lane? Seriously.. a noose on a HBCU campus...and even more far fetched he said it was a "yellow" noose! Dude story has too many holes in it...did you even read the article?

The fact some of you want company with a 3-7 record is what needs to be frown upon...

3-7 goes in the boat with your teams that finishes 2-8, 1-9, or 0-10...

Besides this is the present not the past it been some years sense we went 4-5 and that coach is gone.. meanwhile yall coach who finished 3-7 is still sitting pretty...
